Have fun out there, Mr K.
Don't win all of the money in Vegas in the first few days, please.

If this isn't an elaborate, comedy bluff and there's actually no answer, it really ought to be.
Obviously it's a little difficult for me to be completely objective because I already know the answer, but if, after its been solved, you don't agree that all the clues were relevent, I will buy you dinner at an establishment of my choice.

Investors update.
Arrived safely, registered and took my seat for the Venetian $600 PLO8 7 minutes late.
140 runners so far, will probably exceed 200.
15,000 chips, 40 minute levels, starts $50 -$100.
Played one orbit, but not one hand yet.
Seems to be a bit of a ruck on the adjacent table, involving Big Pete Charalamba. Looks like he has doubled up already.

Be lucky!
Glad you get to go and play for a change. I remember watching you running around like a mad thing when I saw you there at the WSOP a few years back.

I can confirm this is not the same Peter Charalambous that trains racehorses. To save you any detective work like.

Dinner break in the $600 PLO8, around half the field of 214 have gone, and I may well join them soon, am in pretty bad shape right now with around 15 Bigs. Blinds 300-600, time to find a combo hand and flip.
Tremendously enjoyable, great table company and craic, but very few playable hands or situations.
A flipping we shall go then. I need a raiser in front of me, a combo hand, and a bit of luck.

PLO8 flipping is so much fun.
Six way (!) to the J-7-5 flop, I get it in with both nut draws but no hand.
Called by A-3 man, and the deuce on the turn killed my low, but I backed into 2 pairs for the high and we chopped.
Won 2 small pots after that, both uncontested.
Still bad shape, but less worse bad.

This game sounds hard to spin up at? Only played it cash before but crikey that is one painful tourney. You are a legend and I got at 6am to tell you that.
Jeeves is the nuts too.
Have a great time.

PS - Give us a clue on that question from your Dad, it's driving me nuts.
OK. People are sending me PM's about this, so I'm going to try to make it getable for those that didn't hear the original question.
The clues.
Think outside the box.
Pi
Process of elimination.
Basically, someone thought outside the box and decided to use pi after the process of elimination.
I asked Tony what he would use for the same purpose.
Far from easy, but definitely open to everyone now.
If it do go today, I'll give you another clue tomorrow.
So this bloke thought outside the box, and decided that he wanted pi when he was inside the box.
Another clue tomorrow if necessary.
Morning Tony, (Well it is here) I forgot to wish you
bon voyage
, yesterday, so I'll wish you
bon chance
instead.
Today's clue could be a Chinese reindeer.
The number is there for when he's late.
