Investors Update.

We did our money yesterday, $600 of it, in cold blood.

Be nice to say we had a sweat, but really, we were never in the game. We peaked early at 17,000 (15,000 starting) but I just got frozen out after that. I had no starting hands to speak of, very dry, but I seemed to lack the imagination that others had, who happily turned up at Showdown with all sorts of random garbage. Think I need to widen my range, & loosen up a bit, although generally, I'd expect a better range of playable hands.

Our exit hand was the best sweat I had all day.

I had been loking for a spot, & with.....

  three diamonds

......I got it in 3 way on this flop turn......

....and missed the bloody lot. I had a low, but A-2 beat me.

There was only one really interesting hand, I'll stick that in PH for the experts to chew the cud.

This afternoon, at Binions, 2pm, I play their $240 PLO8. Bit of a drop in class might help my confidence, last nigt blew me away a bit. jeez, them boys play wide & fast.

The palazzo is taller than stratosphere?

Apparently, yeah.

Wikipidea says, surprisingly......

It is the tallest completed building in Nevada (although the Fontainebleau Resort Las Vegas, whose construction is currently stalled due to financial problems, is already taller).

It's not taller than the stratosphere - I think that wording comes from the semantics of not counting an 'observation platform' as a 'building' (?)

Tikay

No kidding the Stratosphere is high.

I did the rides with the Shrew and I nearly fucking passed out. Not so much the Big Shot
but the hang over the edge ride is terrible.

Have a go I think you would love it.

Regards

M

Nice pennage Mr.K looking forward to further instalments, and hopefully a bink or two.

We did our money yesterday

Is there a way you can set this sentence as a shortcut, to save lots of typing over the next few weeks.

Our PLO8 event at Binions today is $200, not $240 as previously stated.

Erm that is pretty spooky. I drove under that very bridge today listening to that track. How can that be?
