We have a heatwave under way here in Nottingham/England incidentally.

You'll feel right at home if you return before it's over.

It's supposed to be rising to 30c during the next week and I've just dusted off my old golfing straw hat in readiness for Saturday's medal in which I shall also be parading my knobbly knees (smeared in factor 50 naturellement).

Bloody Hell Ralph. A donkey jacket is only factor 40.

You're right I just checked it's only factor 10.

She looks much better now.

A very pretty young lady, travels the world following the poker circus.

I arranged with Dan the Producer to film the spectacular 4th July Fireworks Display on The Strip, which takes place at midnight.

So we just went out, & prepped everything, ready for midnight.

Excited.

Midnight came & went, no fireworks. Boo!

Then I realised it would have been at the START of 4th July, not the end.........we were 24 hours too late.

Investors Update

Sorry for delayed report on the final Tournament of the staking package.

It was the $240 thing, PLO, @ Caesars.

Made a real good dash at cashing, finished around 30th of about 180.

Really wanted to end with a cash or even, Heaven forbid, a win, but it was not to be.

Got it in with reasonable Aces, got called, the guy checked the K-7-8 flop & whilst I was sussy of his check, I gotta bet there, & I was playing shallow (chips, not Dave) & so in it went, & of course he had setted his Kings.

Not exactly a big deal to lose with Aces in Omaha, we are never far ahead, but it deffo pinched a bit that deep in the Tourney, I only had to hold & we cash. To be fair, I've run very good all trip, so cant complain.

So, that's it, job done.

I'll now try & summarise where we are, & what the final financial position is.

Mere will then check it, as our Staking Package Auditor, & once he confirms the numbers are correct, I'll ask him to Post how much I owe, & to whom, & then I'll start sending the payments immediately.

Big "thank you" to all those who invested, it was tremendous fun for me, & I hope, vicariously, it was bearable for you, too.

One wish? Yeah. I wish it was starting again, today. Never had such fun at the poker tables in my life, & largely speaking, I'm at peace with the poker world. Like.

July 2nd, 5pm, Rio Carnevale, $365, PLO, NIL Return. Additional to schedule

Total spent = $9,250 (please check?)

Total returned = $11,027.

IF those numbers correct, it would be a bit disappointing, as we were $4,000 up at one stage, but even so, it is a return of about 19%. Nobody is gonna get rich, but at least it is a profit, so everyone gets their full investment back, plus a bit, & not many Vegas packages manage that, especially when sold at spot. And yes, I'm a bit chirpy about that, as it is the 2nd year in a row we've managed that. Ripping new arseholes did it, see?

I'll now ask Mere to check those numbers, correct them where necessary, & then assign the return to each Investor. Once he does that, I'll start making the Bank Transfers.

Please note, executive decision, as to additional Tourneys at short notice - EVERYONE is in for Everything. As it happens, we made a profit on the "additionals" thanks to the $3k WSOP PLO8, so that seems fair to me.

Those numbers EXCLUDE a small group who invested seperately for the $3k WSOP PLO8, they are separate.

I'll look those numbers out next.
