Ryan saw the hand, if he does not post it, I will, shortly. Need to get my breath back first.
Did not involve me.

Just seen the most amazing hand.
So a guy opens for 1000 at 200/400/50. Another guy jams 8000 (20bb). The BB rejams 20,000 in chips.
The original opener SNAPS.
They turn over their hands. 20bb guy has 99. The BB rejam has AQ. The guy who has called the 2 all ins has T6off. He's horrified and claimed that he thought he had TT.
Board runs out J8457.
The 99 is celebrating the treble up. The T6 guy is still distraught from the misread and is kicking his chair. It takes 10/15 seconds for them both and the dealer to actually realise that the T6o has a 4 card straight.
Sorry for the poor quality but I only had a couple of seconds before the dealer scooped in the cards. Tikays stack is to the left of the coffee cup.

Andy Black takes the seat of Crazy Frenchie.
He opens to 1,000 from the SB.
10-6 man makes it 10,000......
Andy shakes his head and folds.

Play has terminated for Day 1a.
Had a horror last two levels, sinking from 36,000 to 24,975.
Still, we live to fight another day, and all is not lost.
Night all, thanks for the rail.

Good luck on Tuesday!
Do you know if they redraw as it says 1a and 1b are kept separate on day 2a?

No one wins the Main Event on Day 1, a lot lose it though. Well done so far.
Did you see Mad Turk and Nick Crisp amongst chip leaders? Two contrasting styles!

Well done on making day two Tony, I love reading your updates with my morning coffee which will hopefully continue for about another week.
Great to see the Mad Turk with a big stack too.
There's also a Matt Russell right up there but alas not our evil one
