Never knew you were into Steam Locomotives, Greg?
You go up a notch in my estimation.
It really is remarkalke how popular these "Preservation Railways" have become. I'm not entirely sure why that is.
Kids love em Teeks
Must be all the Thomas the tank engine and other pre school stuff.
Took my boy on several steam trains when he was younger.
Next time you venture South go take a look at the Lavender line
Yes, but WHY would kids love them? They have no memory of seeing them, unlike us grown-ups today, so we remember them with affection, but why would a child be interested in a steam engine rather than, say, a space rocket, or a modern F1 car?
There seems logical reason that I can fathom.
But they do.

Me and my girls went to the York railway museum yesterday they are in love with trains. If they have "Chu Chu" noise or smoke that seems to really make them giddy and happy. Such a fantastic place to visit for kids and free!

His catwalk show should only be fit for a supermarket.
Oh wait...

Knows how to create an impression though, for the purposes of branding.
Really amazing imagery.
Never even heard of him until this morning, when I was persusing something about the Chanel Paris Fashion Show, as you do.
google is full of him, he's a phenom.
That's some image he has got going for him.

He's a fairly outspoken fellow, especially in recent years, but he's not the only octogenarian to pay little regard to what other people might think of his views.
Chanel may be considered a fairly snooty brand, even by fashion standards. You do wonder how he came to collaborate with H&M, where his designs would sit next to Lord Becks.

We all went at half term, the kids all loved it. I read it is threatened with closure which is a shame.
Pity the council isn't so welcoming to visitors, and aren't so keen for people to visit their City.
http://www.yorkpress.co.uk/features/readersletters/11046894.Debate_continues_over_Lendal_Bridge_trial/
I saw a sign that told me that Lendal Bridge was closed, but telling me Lendal bridge is closed is fairly meaningless if I don't live there, and looking ahead I couldn't see any obviously closed bridge. Just a bunch of other traffic on the way to paying £30 to York Council it turned out. There were some other signs I noticed just before the bridge, but there weren't many other obvious places to go. I am sure if you asked 100 people, less than 5 would say that looked like a bus lane.
Hope you found a way out without crossing it!

Strewth, I never realised he was 80.
Quite a character, quite a brand, & seems to juggle more hats than Tighty.

He is one or the few people who are known by a single name. How much would Karl.com have cost?

Does a Man-Bag, too.
I'd want $2,360 to walk into G-Luton carrying that I think.
Would have captured a few headlines at the Brit Poker Awards, mind.

Books are a hardbound drug, with no danger of an overdose. I am a happy victim of books.
