She's not wrong though, although I may be biased as I'm anti-re-entry.

Went to a posh place for tea today, & saw something I've never seen before, though I'm sure Tom has one.
It was called a "Tea-Timer".
Tea is delivered to your table, the tea is immersed into the boiling water, then the Tea Timer is inverted.
The photo shows 3, 4 & 5 minutes, (weak, medium, strong) but in this case, it was "Black Tea" (longest), "White Tea" & "Green Tea".
Awesome.

I blame Heston Blumenthal.
Tea bag
Kettle
Water
Mug (large)
Milk
Sugar optional. Only the white stuff though. None of that la-di-da demerara malarkey
Done.

ENGLISH Tea. Grown on a plantation in Yorkshire, I should imagine.

One of the teams at work (not mine, thankfully) has a Dulux colour chart (or similar) where they have each put their names next to the colour that best reflects how they like their tea or coffee to look.
I make my own.

Genius idea!
The men in our family takes its tea making very seriously, with various rules and regulations, and many a helpful visitor who has volunteered to brew up has found themselves reduced to a quivering wreck by the pressure of producing a cuppa that passes muster.
For instance, woe betide anyone who left the tea spoon in the cup while the tea was brewing, as the metal conducts the heat from the water and reduces the correct brewing temperature.

Good evening Staking Team.
Apologies for the delay in settling up, it's been a bit of a difficult week one way & another at work.
I have this afternoon worked right through that list, & either......
Paid everyone (& confirmed it by PM)
Sent you a PM, asking for Bank Details, so I can process the payments.
There are one or two exceptions, being pals who I have other ongoing transactions with ("Intrepid" etc), but you all know who you are. Some Payments were made earlier this week, too, again to those I have other ongoing private transactions with.
Some "donations" were made too, to various beneficaries, I'll address all of them next, & thank you personally via PM, but those arrangements are also in hand, & I'll confirm them in due course, though I'll not mention one or two who requested to be "anon".
So, for now, I'm as up to date as I'm able.
If, for some reason, I have missed you, or messed up in some way, let me know please.
If I don't hear otherwise, I'll assume I'm as up to date my end as I'm able, & as soon as the Bank Deets I've requested this afternoon are received, I'll send those too.
I'll do a bit of an "End of Term" Report shortly, too.
Then, at long last, I'll get up to date with questions on the Diary which I've not yet had time to answer.

Let there be no misunderstanding on this. If Tom comes to visit me again, & stays long enough (he stayed exactly 2 minutes last time), & I make him a cup of tea, he'll accept what he is given, & how he is given, whether he likes it or not. Can't be doing with Tea Prima Donnas. English Breakfast Tea, as it comes, spoon in cup, like it or not.
Note that I insist on "milk in first", obviously.

Tea is so much better without milk. The rest of the World us right. It doesn't matter if you don't put the milk in before brewing or after brewing, just don't put it in.
Ps shall I offset my staking returns from the bill?
