Tal. Do you think it's rude when people ask you questions on Tony's thread when you have a perfectly good thread of your own? I mean, I wouldn't do it.
Hey Red, hows it going? What's your favourite sandwhich filler?
I'm fine Bazza. How are you?
Favorite sandwich filler? I would probably say jiz rags....
If I was like, FIVE.

No need to be so subtle.
Just tell me to fuck off, I'll stay off this and your thread from now on.
Didn't realise there was such important protocol to follow.

For fuck's sake Kieth, it was a joke. As highlighted by the fact that I was doing it too.

I try to be civil and pleasant to everyone. I very rarely tell anyone to fuck off. I do make the odd joke that isn't very good, but Tal does that all the time and he seems to get away with it.
I'm also more likely to have a bit of banter or trade mock insults with people I know well and consider to be my friends. (See my recent exchange with that foul-mouthed tosser Barry Carter).
For the avoidance of doubt, if I do tell anyone to fuck off, I won't be doing it subtly.
Note: This does not affect anyone's right to fuck off of their own free will.

Bollocks! I was so flustered earlier that I spelled Kieth's name wrong.

I don't mind him missing the joke, I'm just a bit disappointed that he would jump to the conclusion that I was having a sly go at him.
I thought he knew me better than that.

No "protocol" here Mr Keith, this Diary only exists because people ask questions, & in many of my replies, I deliberately ask questions of them, too.
Just a shame that at present, I can't always reply as quickly as I would like, but work & other stuff is keeping me quite busy right now. And playing poker, which I still do every spare evening I have. I really ought to write about that, but I just play small-ball stuff, which is of little interest to most. I love it to bits though, never enjoyed my poker more.
I tend to find a spare 2 or 3 hours every few days or so, & then try to do all the replies at once, I'm just so dis-organised though.
Today, my two preoccupations are some poker players next door who are moaning to Heaven's high about a minor irritation, & those quite unfathomable events in Pakistan yesterday. I know it's wrong, & someone will say I need to get some perspective, but I cn't help making such comparisons for some reason.
Poker players weird? We certainly are.
Anyway, I hope you don't desert this Diary, Tom was only joking. He manages to whoosh me pretty much every day, as it happens.

Well for the avoidance of doubt when I'm joking it wont be subtle but if I'm serious it will be.

I think Tal is very intelligent and sounds like a really good chess player and should probably try and focus on playing more so he can reach his true potential in the game.
The downside would be that he posts less on the forum.
That would be a real shame.

All this biccering has just made me realise we have somehow managed to get to December 17 without anyone asking why we haven't got an advent calendar this year.
