Do Sky have any plans to increase the amount of deposit methods?

I quite often fancy playing but have neither credit card nor paypal.

Big thanks to Rod Paradise, sharplea, vegaslover, Geo the Sarge & Kuku for the blister advice.

No thanks, you note, to Red-Dog or Vinny. Tosspots.

The sock & blister pad advice was well received, & she's investigating further.

Just 5 days now to the maiden outing, the 10k Richmond Run this Saturday, & she has now entered another 10k-er at Osterley Park in November or December.

She is winding down her training this week based on advice to "taper off" before a big run. She must have read that in one of the 273 books she has purchased about recreational jogging & running. This one seems to be the favoured tome......

Moneybookers, Skrill, Neteller no good?

If not, I doubt it, but I'll ask.

More impressive train that the one they used to have at St Pauli - but it's not delivering currywurst....

Well, we are all set for the 10k Richmond Run @ 0930 tomorrow.

http://www.macmillan.org.uk/get-involved/fundraising-events/event-detail/942/richmondautumnriverside10k

Went for a recce this morning, to see where to park the car etc, its adjacent Ham House, at the end of Ham Street, Richmond. Some seriously expensive property down there.  We have to get there for 0800 in the morning, "just in case" like.

Had a sneak preview into Gill's "running box" tonight. Special hand held water bottle thing. GPS watch thing. Heart monitor thing. Posh plimsolls. Safety pins to attach her running number (#524).  Everything.

"High-carb" tea now, in readiness.

It's wonderful really. It's no different to my first game of snooker, golf, poker, etc. So excited for her.

I've been grumpy for the last few days. Really grumpy.

An incident of some nasty - really nasty - harassment & bullying Next Door this week saddened me especially. There are some peculiar sorts around, who derive pleasure from that sort of thing. I think about it for ages. Why would they deliberately be hurtful to others - all over a game of poker? Makes no sense to me.

I'm more & more convinced that some of these kids who spend all their adolescent lives on computers & computer games  lose touch with the real world, & genuine emotions & feelings.

Then, completely unconnected, but I've got (very) minor but quite sore injuries to BOTH my middle fingers. Split part of the nail off on my left hand, & some peculiar issue with the "quick" (?) on the right hand. Makes it hard to type - my middle finger is my typing finger. You don't realise how much & often you use your fingers until they are unavailable.

So I'm grumpy (official).

Best of luck to the young lady on her big day. So much preparation, top half finish I reckon.

I despise bullying of any kind, let's hope they get their comeuppance.
