Player opppsite me reports a marked card to the dealer. Hand plays out and finishes. I jokingly say "seven of diamonds!", choosing what I figured is one of the more inoccuous cards and least likely to be marked.

Dealer turns over  

I am their king.

You're the guy doing the marking!

Take out the four cards I saw in my hand and the three on the flop and there's a 44/45 chance you're right.

We have a mark at the table, and 8 of us know he is the mark, and we all know that everyone knows.

Quite an interesting dynamic, as he is guaranteed to stack off to someone soon, and we are all vying to be that man.

I thought I had him just now, but he somehow escaped, Houdini style. I was Scoopio on flop and turn, but just a chop chop on the river.

Bugger, that would have set me up a treat.

Over on the Hustler Table, I am back to starting stack. Proper swingy, this: 20k, 19k, 18k, 19k, 19.5k, 20k.

Door card King, he gets half, the other two a quarter each.

Next hand, there is a raise to 2k round the back, Mr Mark intends to call in the BB, but throws a 5k chip in, ruling is called and it is deemed a raise.

Opener shoves, Mark calls, and he is now history.
