Can confirm it was a bit grim, but at least you get to tell the story about the guy asking if you can drive to London from vegas and if we speak French in the UK. He wasn't trolling.

But you do sound the same when you speak?    Err no.

Not sure he even understood why you would get wet driving from London.  Suspect he just thought it rained a lot.

Good luck.  Hope you run better and play better than I did.

Team Blonde continue to run bad - Flushy out.

Animal was still in at the break, but I never got to hear what his stack was. Probably 15,000. Minimum.

Lost a little in level 3, but happy enough with 8,100.

Blinds now 100-200.

Level 4 complete, and 2nd break.

Was having a great level, up to 10,500, when it kicked off big time.

I flopped the wheel and the nut flush, with Matey Boy betting into me.

We can play this all sorts of ways but I chose to play it fast and we got the lot in on the flop. Am pretty sure he also has the wheel, so the more I can get in the middle the better, and I am looking at getting three quarters of a 20,000 pot.

He had the wheel and a set, and the river paired. Bang out of order, that.

Anyway, I did nothing wrong, but that was a great spot to get a proper stack like the big boys have.

Bla bla, we ended the level on 7,025.

It's hard to get out of our minds what might have been, but it is what it is.

Level 5 complete, and it has been a real struggle.

A lack of decent starting hands means I have been trying to force it, and that has not worked. Maybe I needed to be more patient, but it's too late now and we are in a hole.

Blinds are 200-400, and we have just 11 Bigs.

Gamble dial turned up to the max.

Just got it all in with:

A-2-5-8 double suited.

He had virtually the identical hand:

A-2-5-6

We chopped the low but he hit the 6, so I got quartered.

It's been that sort of day.

1,800

Put the kettle on Mother.

Get it in 3 way and end up with three quarters of the pot.

Lovely job.

Just need to do that once more and we are right back in it.

Blinded down to 3,700 then find a nice balanced hand, facing a raise and a call.

POT.

They both call.

We have A-2-10-J double suited.

Board runs out......

K-Q-3-4.............9

SCOOPIO

11,700.

And we are right back in this thing.

Guess I had best turn the gamble dial back down now. Then again.......

Level 6 complete, so third break of the day. Very happy to still be here.

11,100 @ 250-500

What a level that last one was, down to 1,800 at one stage.

Weird thing is when I am really short and forced to gamble I get a real buzz, it's awesome. Then when I get a playable stack I go back into my shell like a snail.

I really do need to find more gamble.

Late reg has closed now. The plasma is showing 829 entrants but I fancy it is out of date.

No idea what the average is, but I can't be far off it.

Plasma now up to date.

830 runners, of which 396 remain.

So the average is higher than I thought at 15,720.

We have 22 Bigs though, so ok at the mo.

Shortie opens to 1,600, he is playing around 3,000.

We have:

Let's go.

He has:

We seem to be in good shape until the flop comes 10-J-Q.

Back down to 8,000.
