O J Simpson, currently serving 33 years for armed robbery & kidnapping, has won Parole after 9 years, & should be released in October.
The guy who admitted beating his wife Nicole "black & blue", & who murdered Nicole Simpson & Ron Goldman, was able to convince the Parole Board that he had led "a conflict free life". Magic.

I miss Mere.
We all do.
We'd have a competition this week if he were still here, ditto all the big sporting events.
My 2017 staking would he settled and paid by now if he were still here, too.
No further comment.

I missed Jeeves.
We all missed her, too, but she did have a note from Matron.

I know Camel is busy, what with horse racing, golf, fantasising about QPR & the like, so on his behalf, a very happy birthday to this young man, who is, I would guess, some sort of heir to the throne.
Amazing how fast they grow up. It does not seem 6 months since we were betting what colour hair the unborn His Majesty-in-Waiting might have. (WINNER).
Camel is a huge supporter of the Monarchy, as of course we all are. What would we do without them?

Around the Lindum area folk still use the roman names Fosse way and Ermine when referring to these roads

You can still live on Ermine Street in Huntingdon, Papworth and Caxton. The A15 North of Lindum is pretty straight.

I live near Watling Street and The Fosse way, and that's what folks around here call them.
