Next hand, facing a pot bet raise (28,000) I commit with the so beautiful A-A-2-5-7, he sets me in - yes please - & he is in a world of pain with A-3-Q-K-K.
The 3-3-9-J-J board is a shocker and sends me home.
Guess I used up my run good earlier in the day and was due a beat, though that was a real thin one.
19th place, and just $362, but it's a start, and we are off the mark.

Morning all.
Well what a disappointment that was. Big chips all day, & then when it mattered, the wheels came off.
Had no interest in min cashing, & put my chips at risk several times just before & on the bubble, had a top 3 finish in my mind. These spots don't arrive very often, I only play live once per year, on my Vegas trips, so need to take advantage of them when I get deep. Anyway, it is what it is. And if there is a minor positive, at least I've not had need for any 2nd bullets yet.
So, $362 for 9 hours, minus the $250 entry is.......not a lot. I play scores of cash hands every night for more than that & don't bat an eyelid, but there I was in a Tourney getting all excited.
$362 is £2.70 sterling, so 1% buyers must be jolly excited at the prospect of £2.70 coming their way if I brick the rest of the schedule......

Today, we are back Downtown for the 4th time on the bounce;
WEDNESDAY 6th June, Binions, $365 PLO
11am (7pm UK) start.
30,000 chips, 30 minute levels, blinds start at the rather odd 100-100 level. It's quick though, after 100-100, it's 100-200, 200-400, 300-500, so can't be hanging about in this one.
First time I've played PLO this trip, so it'll be fun.
