https://triton-series.com/tritonpokerlondon2019announcement

Further rules, intended to level the playing field between the recreational players and the professionals, include a prohibition on sunglasses, hats and hoodies. Players will not be allowed to cover any part of their body from the neck up. Furthermore, players in the final nine will be required to wear a formal suit for the final day’s play.

Splendid.

Oooh, I DO like that.

I would doubt it's enforceable, (or even true?) but it would be thoroughly wholesome to see players dressed suitably for a big occasion.

FFS. Toss.

Hopefully you can change the live RNG for your next game and tell the TD that you are a favoured player. That should do the trick. Obviously, you didnt want to make it obvious in the 1st game you played. Obviously.

Tikay   -1

As that's a sort of in-joke, I feel obliged to give some background to it, without of course mocking the individual concerned.

I was somewhat tetchy, grumpy even, yesterday morning, & in the usual course of doing the Customer facing replies Next Door, I allowed myself to get involved with a gentleman who had suggested that Sky Poker has;

"...a database of "special" players and deliver boards in their favour....."

Such comments are made almost daily, they are not worthy of thought or comment & I generally ignore them. This one was quite unusual, in that it came from a polite & articulate winning player. Normally, they come from idiots, or folks out in East Anglia.

Not sure what annoyed me most - the ridiculous accusation, obviously not thought through one bit, or the fact that I "bit".

For reasons that baffle even me, I decided to engage with him, & ended up wasting 3 hours going back & forth with him.

I could have done so many useful things with those three hours.

The same gentleman has laid out some more ground-bait for me today, but I'm in full ignore mode, as I should have been yesterday.

Lovely. Think I'd be very happy to spend my final days there.

Bad luck tikay but best to get bad results out of the way early. Sure it works like that anyway...

Rather than wasting your time arguing next door it might be worth investigating how to become a special player in Vegas, so we get a few boards delivered in our favour like

Morning Tony,

Great verbiage as always, the expansive ramblings is what we stakers love; the highs, the lows and most of all your ability to bring happiness into our
humdrum lives. Have I started on the sherbets early today, yes I have as we've a couple of weeks of Scoopio to come, I thought I'd celebrate.

It’ll be interesting to see if they enforce the dress code. I was fortunate enough to report on the €1M buy-in Big One for One Drop back in October 2016, which was held in the Casino de Monte-Carlo. The final eight were all asked to wear black tie, which would be provided by a local tailor free of charge. As you can see from the photo, only four of the eight finalists obliged.

Maybe they could all call John Hesp's tailor and ask for nine matching suits to be made.
