I think this form is vindicating my decision to swerve the package this year.
(tbf if I didn't have so many fucking holidays to pay for then I'd have jumped on board the good ship disappointment, fear of missing out and all that jazz)
Enjoy your break in California.

Everything is so big in Vegas. You can play one arm bandits, or "slots" as I think they are known Online, on an i-phone which measures about 5" x 2".
But in Vegas.....

Old timers who enjoyed Fremont St as was will be saddened to see this. It's the area where Glitter Gulch, ABC Stores, & the casino (forgotten the name) where they had big signs outside advertising 99c Hot Dogs.
All gone to make way for a huge new Casino, "Circa" I think;

This used to be that lovely amphitheatre style room in Binions where, in latter years, they played cash & even MTT's on occasion. Now it's some sort of slots room.

On a whim, we decided to take a look at New York New York last night, which sits on the corner of the Strip & West Tropicana, across Tropicana from Excalibur.
Was a bit tatty & down market, but otherwise seemed lively enough. Costs $12 an hour to park there but the first hour is free.
I'd always looked lovingly at Las Vegas style "Club Sandwiches" but never had the courage to try one, but I went for it last night.
This was the $12.99 "Turkey Club" in a sort of faux New York Deli we found.
Tasted good, but sooo much of it. I can't leave food on a plate, it has to be eaten, & I eventually won the battle. Never again though. No wonder so many American folk are obese. There must be a knack to eating them too, I had to dismantle mine into manageable portions.

These things are all over Vegas, though of course the climate here allows open top cars.
Can't say I've ever seen anything dafter. In the UK, there used to be tax advantages to 3 wheelers, but no idea if that's the case in the USA. Must be I guess, can't think why else anyone would buy such monstrosities.
Note they are belt driven.
They seem to be very well-made, so they must cost a good few bob.

Last I heard Raj was with Matt, the quiet lad who used to deal at the G. Besty now has a son, with another on the way.
Raj & Matt get married next month
She’s also resigned from Grosvenor, but not sure what her next venture is. If I had to guess, it would be to start a family

Doubt they have hand controls, so I'll have to stick with the Scootershot.

Great updates Tikay!
Love NYNY, but not sure that's the best looking Club Sarnie I have ever seen.
Personally prefer something that looks like this....
Food pic just for Adz
Hope the pokerz improve next week!
