Best value tournament for all round o8 player since they introduced it 2? Years ago.
That said I had a shocking 1st table last year without much dead money until it broke .
It’s very important early to watch who is playing what sort of hands and how fast in the pl games as that’s where big mistakes are made early, remember most people hardly ever play big o too .
Gl and enjoy Toni 👀

Thanks Rob. And yes, I'll be watching tricks closely for a few levels to see who is doing what, & what sort of stuff they turn up with.

Despite a bit of a barren run, I'm looking forward to it immensely.

How are things at home now?

Better thanks . Turning a corner would be the right phrase I think for now .
Bedtime, look forward to coffee and diary updates in 4-8hours time .

Ross Boatman might be resting, but he was part of an outstanding cast in the delightful ‘Mum’ which has just completed it’s third and final series.

Think he said it was late last year he last worked. Standard stuff for an actor or actress I suppose. Can't be nice being "between roles". Think he's pretty good at what he does, though I must confess I've never seen anything which features him, I don't watch that sort of stuff.

He'll always be Kevin to me.

Heads up, PLO8.

  three clubs

It comes....

Bet, he calls.

Same again.

River......

 Two Diamonds

Bet, call.

Weird card that deuce. It gave him a rivered K-2 Boat (until then I had the better K) and me the nut low. I rather fancied the scoop there.

Limit O8.

A bet and 3 callers to my BB and I call the extra 200 with slight reluctance. I have a terrible weakness for suited aces.

The 9-4-4 flop was just the job. I got a little action on the flop, he probably had the 4 ((what else?) but he gave up on my turn bet.

A rather fortunate 15,000.

Good luck Toni in the last chance saloon. I really hope you run good and have a bloody good last game, not for your investors....just for you.

I think I was also right calling Dooobs ...Booobs back in the day I used to post in TFT thread. Picture never lies Wink But GL David too.

Thanks for posting that photo Tony.

Out 32nd.   Set + flush draw on a high board didn't get there vs Erik Seidel's flopped straight.   Got up to 600k again so was going for the millball.   Was a 5 way flop, so a big pot, and not much gain on 10th again.

Going to starby's then late regging the mixed O8

Took this photo during the first break, it's the very late stages of the Razz.

Looks like one of Danny's debtors paid him off.

I could not see what denom those bills were, but I assumed $100's.

Anyone care to speculate how much he has in front of him? Must be a few hundred thou?

Tremendous effort David, very well done.

First break after 2 levels, and all rather quiet here, 14,200.

Limit blinds now 200-300, PL blinds 100-200.

Doobs just popped by, en route to Starby's and the cage, to enter this. He did just great.

Lost a 4,000 pot, then, in Limit O8, in a pot that had been bet pre and called in 3 spots, I had to call the big bet on the turn chasing nut flush and nut low.

Both missed, but I somehow backed into the bottom end of a 10 High straight. Could not call a bet, but it was checked all round and a very fortunate 3,000 scoop was pushed my way.

Just clicked on my name on the WSOP updates and realised my 5 WSOP cashes are all in different events:  Hold'em, ante only, omaha, mixed O8 and now PLO8.   Probably no interest to anyone else, but definitely a bit quirky.

Would be interested in who has the longest streak of cashes in different events at the start of their WSOP career.

Extraordinary.

We need a geek to see if anyone has a 6 timer in different disciplines.

Just checked and Shaun Deeb and Benny Glaser have both done at least 5 in a row.  Neither started with 5 in a row though.
