What are the chances? Doobs joins my table.

Looking forward to getting bokked for 2 hours.

Down to 10,000 then get it all in heads up and take three quarters, then get half of a tidy 3 way pot.

Peaked at 19,000, but Doobs has been bullying me. 16,000 now, as we approach the end of level 4, after which there is a 15 minute break.

Good to see the master in action.  Raises KQJ2 rainbow.   Whiffs everything then bets pot, pot, pot and says "in your face sunshine" when they fold the river.

2nd break after 4 levels.

Blinds now 200-400 in Limit and still 100-200 in PL.

18,500, thanks to the cards and boards falling nicely for me so far. Not sure I've run this good all trip tbh.

What is the correct thing to do when you sit at a table with someone you know ?
Do you let the others know you know each other ?
Keep Schtum ?

Hi Tony.

I certainly don't hide it, and nor does Doobs. When he arrived we immediately exchanged pleasantries, "fancy seeing you here David/Tony" etc.

Think it's better that way than trying to be covert about it. We've played hard against each other too, so don't see any reason to be shy about knowing each other.

End of level 5, so that's the day half done, or at least it is for those who will survive the day.

Blinds for level 6 are exactly the same as level 5, or as the announcer man said, "same same". Pretty unusual in my experience.

23,500, and still running really well. (Obv......).

Level 6 completed, so another break. Late reg ( and re-entry) remains open for two more levels.

Blinds now go 300-500 (Limit) and 200-300 (PL).

Had a very quiet level or two, but still running good when I get involved.

24,000, which is exactly double starting. In shock news, that might even be above average too.

Hope the table does not break. For the most part, it is very amenable and passive.

pompeynick eventually decided to play this.

He was in trouble early, down to 6,000, but he's rocking and rolling now and up to 19,000, and having a ball. No regrets for him.

Blue on blue.

First setback of the day as I double up Doobs in a Limit hand, luckily (for me) he only had 6,000 as I think I would have lost a lot more if he had more.

Don't recall exact board, but I had Aces and a bad straight on the turn and needed a spade for the nut flush. My straight ended as 10 high, he was a spot better with the nut straight, and he did me by two pips for the low to scoopio.

Outrageous.

I got a bit silly on the end by raising instead of calling, as I thought he was pot stuck and maybe light. Bad read. I got a little confused with the Limit betting, too, and messed up the raises.

At least they went to Doobs.

Down to 18,000 now. Boo.
