I mean, VUL...you played very well, but in snooker/pool terms, you just didnt get the run of the balls.

Also.....I blame Jeeves.

I’m out, after battling a short stack for two levels I got up to 26k and in big0 I got it all in with .
I hit my straight with the on the river but that sadly gave my opponent his flush and it was goodnight from me some thirty something short of the money. Fabulous day and a half, I felt much more at ease, think I put too much pressure on myself in the earlier plo8 tournament.
As Tony said, thanks again for all the advice, much appreciated.
Will I ever get to come back to Vegas? Not sure, but I do love live poker and the four card game is, as they say, the nuts.

Glad you enjoyed it Nick.   Maybe see you next year.

Unlucky Tony

I was interested in what you made of this hand heads up in the PLO8.   Rodney Burt was the player two to my right on day 2, and was sat on Pete Linton's direct left.  He was the person who knocked Pete Linton out in that 500k pot.  I'd say he was a good aggressive player, not wild aggressive like the player on my right yesterday.

I can see why he calls here, but the insta call of a pot sized bet makes me think it is a misread.  What do you think?

I think I need to make a better effort to play the 10k plo8 next year.  It doesn't look super strong from reports.

Pulp Fiction fact:

The Chevy Malibu used in the film belonged to Quentin Tarantino and was stolen during filming.

I'll give you another one:

The Honda Accura driven by Winston "The Wolf" Wolfe in Pulp Fiction is the almost indistinguishable American version of my Honda Legend Coupe.

Highly collectable over there too.

It's possibly the heat but I'm fairly sure Winston Wolf drove a Honda NSX (sold as the Acura NSX in the USA) in the film, not a Legend coupe?

The Accura NSX is the American name for the Honda Legend Coupe.

I've had an American over here trying to buy mine and he's an expert.

Also, I like the little wheel spin and the guitar riff as you drive away.

[dons petrolhead anorak]

One of these is an Legend coupe, one is a NSX. One has a 3.2l V6, the other has a 3l V6.

PS I love your Legend, always thought they were great cars. Looks like there are only 4 left on the road in the UK: https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=honda+legend+coupe

This is food for thought - look how far we've come in just 12 years....
