Ooooh, great stuff Tikay.  Pretty sure that is the first time I have won a ticket there, but if you are going to win one, this is the one to win.  Thanks for posting here, as I don't pay as much attention next door.

Run good is an interesting thing.  Party changed everyone's names a year or so ago.  Under my old name I am a fishbowl on sharkscope, under my new one I am a shark.   I used to run ridiculously good on Sky; I am sure I have commented on it many times; the last few months I have run dreadfully.  I know I won one really big one, but it was very much an outlier.  MTT variance is pretty mad.  Obv going to win the SPT now Smiley

Well done, doobs.

What a thread that is, Tikay:

"50 people win £220 entries"

Then two people say it's a terrible promotion.

Cheers Tal, I just assumed it was an in joke I didn't understand.  The guys are both regulars on the threads there so think it must be.   Obv a great promo for me anyway.  Let the moaners eat cake.

That's a relief. I'm sure there are poker regulars who'd moan if you put a fiver in their pockets that they weren't given a tenner.

I am not entirely sure what the joke is, or if it definitely is one, I just remembered MAXALLY and PKRPar doing the same routine the week before.

Maybe Teeks or Maxally could shed some light on it?

I don't know if anyone has watched any of this, but these boats are fantastic machines.  I just watch and think how the feck do they do that.

The Ineos UK boat was hopeless in the World Series.  They struggled to get the boat up on its foils and they lost every race; most badly.   They did a lot of development and this happened last night.

It starts again at 2am, and the livestream is free on youtube but I am too knacked to watch it.

Simple 'childish' banter. If your alias is tagged next door, you get a notification on the Forum. If you tag someone on the SPT giveaway thread....they might think they have won a seat. I also think that the moaners are 100% tongue in cheek.

....Anyway, we all know next door its all a sham and Tikay is hand picking the winners. Hence, how you have got your ticket. Smiley  (Smiley face indicates attempted humour being applied)

Have you been following the attempts to become the first winter ascent of K2 ?
By numerous expeditions
It will end in a tragedy
The only question is how many ?

Hi Tony,

Not really. When I first began to read, I devoured every book I could on mountaineering, solo sailing trips round the world & so on, but I've sort of lost touch with the scene these days.

No Vegas trip booked this year presumably?

Yes our two trips for June and September from 2020 ,
have been transferred to this year 8 th June to 10 th July Vegas
then September for 11 nights with 18 nights in Boston area on the way home for cape cod Nantucket and a road trip to Halifax nova scotia

If this year gets cancelled they will be moved to 2022

I’m the same with reading I red read ! loads then cba atm

Nova Scotia looks great.  One of my distant family lives in Halifax, so I frequently see pictures from there.  It isn't that far away either.  Definitely need to get out there one day.

We were due out on the other side of Canada/Alaska last year, and it is looking like next year now.  We haven't rebooked yet anyway.

Good luck on getting there this year.
