What a time sponge the internet is. Worth it though.
After that self Winding Clock Company piece I found their Wiki page. I'm easily amused.

A Step-Well located in Rajasthan, India.
Wouldn't fancy having to climb them everyday.
These things are a genuine wonder of the world.
Very dangerous to use, I'd imagine - very deep, with narrow steps & no handrails.
Just imagine the ingenuity needed to construct them?

I'm sure the pain will keep me down to one, and I will have it done in Vegas after winning the Collosus in November, if we get there.
Here's the full list from WSOP

Tony: The Seniors is calling you..........
The Stake wants a piece of that action Tikay, just saying.
Well done on your Avenger Main win last month Carl, time you won it again.
I'll reserve you some action if I ever get to Vegas again, but the odds are lengthening.

Evening Tony,
Glad to see you're back putting pen to paper, I smille when extra pages are added to the thread.
Not sure Biden will let Brits in anytime soon, but a trip on QM2 to New York and road trip to Vegas is a live outside chance, as this would
be a way of getting there without the dreaded Jet-lag; but the extention to my driving licence is lost (for the past 3 months) in the DVLA, and they
don't answers phones or reply to e-mails. The doctors letter I'm using to keep me on the road isn't valid outside the UK.
Just booked to see the Bootleg Beatles twice later this year, they are better live than the originals, and I say that after seeing them both, but to be honest when the Beatles came to
the ABC in Hull you could hardly hear them sing, as we were all screaming too loud.
Our social life is hectic at the moment, as retirement has opened the floodgates for days & nights out with family and our wider circle of friends; and on that theme what do you think to this:
1st - 3rd of October at DTD - The Tony Kendal Poker weekend
Where your vast poker family come together for 3 days of Poker & Geriatric Mayhem?
I'll stop rambling now, the 3 pints of Porter I've drunk this evening is playing havoc with my VD.

Tour De France btw. Apparently it wasn't from this year, but was taken on Mount Ventoux during the Tour De France a few years ago.

Hi Dave,
What's the latest news on the USA trip?
I follow all the Vegas feeds on Twitter, & I have to say, it's not looking great at the moment. Fingers crossed it changes soon.

Thanks Boo, sorry for delayed reply, have been a bit all over the shop.
I had to google image that 'photo, as it was so intriguing. The Nest, Norwich City's pervious home ground. I'd be curious to know exactly what was going on that day, & who the geezer in the wellies was. It all looks very formal. And cold.
Bet that place had some atmo on a Saturday afternoon when Ipswich Town were the visitors.

You might be surprised to know that I guessed that one correctly David. No idea how, but it just felt right.
PS - well done on your recent winning form Next Door.

I always thought that I understood maths - well, arithmetic - at the basic level. It seems I've been kidding myself all my life.
Who could ever imagine there could be so much difference of opinion & so many different answers on the sum total of 2 + 2 x 4? I'd have bet the shop on 16. Now I'm wobbling.

Here's the range of answers given. (Ignore the first 3 or 4 replies).
https://twitter.com/xclaudius/status/1418026819845074948
So what is the correct answer, & why?
How on earth did 26% of the people who responded think the answer was 13?

Wow, just wow.
I saw this when I had my early morning peruse of Twitter this morning & it cheered me up no end. You are looking great Mr P, in fact I never recognized you at first, I had to stare at the photo for fully 30 seconds before the penny dropped. Hopefully your recovery from the heart incident a few months ago has gone well.
PS - hope you don't mind me posting this, but you put it on Twitter so I sort of thought you would not mind.
