Beef on Netflix
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFPIMHBzGDs
I can't quite put my finger on why it's so enjoyable but it is!
And The Bear, which is also on Netflix, but about more traditional Beef.
Excellent.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
I've had a good google, & I think I'll start with Stu's suggestion, "The Bear".
I started watching the new Prime thing "Married to the Game", which follows the lives of the wives of 5 top footballers.
It's a dreadful watch, so bad I can't stop watching it. When Riyad Mahrez signed for a team in Saudi Arabia his missus said she was "stressed to bits, I've not had time to think about finding a Gym to join out there, or where I'll get my nails or hair done". She also complained she had "no friends in Saudi, & I'll have to sit at home on my own".
I don't do jealousy or envy, good luck to these girls who manage to find themselves a zillionaire footballer, but their complete lack of self-awareness was sickening.
James Tarkowski (Everton) and wife Samantha seemed reasonably grounded, until they revealed they were throwing a huge party (costing well into 6 figures) to celebrate their "2 month wedding anniversary".

apropros nothing really but I went to the Driving Range yesterday & bumped into a very healthy looking Neil Giblin.
He seems very happy with life. Works with Matt Russell, who I sense is well on his way to becoming a millionaire. Might already be there.
Neil hits the ball an absolute mile, and it makes that lovely sound when it comes off the clubface. Now that I AM jealous of. I did manage to win a three-ball at Breadsall Priory against Jamie Moult & another guy last week who is a jacket potato vendor & must be worth fortunes, got a cracking pitch in Beeston, but I'm way too embarrassed to reveal what Handicap they had to give me to make me competitive. Golf is SO hard.

I swerved The Crown until recently. Yet it’s such a beautifully crafted thing. Well written, great acting, just gets better and better.
Getting older now so glass of sherry and episode of The Crown is a banging night.
The Crown? Seriously?

I detect tension. Which is probably a result of all the stressful, violent tv mini series you currently digest.
Picture the scene. Sunday afternoon, nice bottle of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, female companion, soothing episode of The Crown.
An altogether more relaxing level of ambient sophistication than Chelsea smiles and busting caps in asses.

Here's another one for you;
Mayor of Kingstown
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11712058/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_7_nm_1_q_mayor
Starring Jeremy Renner of Marvel Hawkeye fame. Very gritty and quite intense.
I was hooked form the first couple of episodes, finished 2 series (20 episodes) in a week. 3rd season was delayed by the writers strike and the nasty snow plough accident Jeremy miraculously survived about a year ago.

I see Rookie still has what it takes.
Congratulations to Ben Collins who won the Newcastle 25/50 last night.
Ben beat the 240 entry field to win £11,190!
