The cat is home. Well done.
2 - 3 weeks of bed rest (indoors) for a broken pelvis. Nice hand.
Bill = €165. Good game.

Broken pelvis though, that's gotta smart a bit.

He was knocked out for the x-rays and they offered to castrate him while he was out. I told them to go ahead and do it. Wonder which problem smarts most at the minute.

So much to do, so much to write, so little time......
Well, a few days at home in prospect, & I must get caught up with so many things.
I am a week or more behind with answering PM's - sorry, please be patient with me - ditto e-Mails. The "yes" "no" "3 bags full" replies are easy & quick to deal with, but many of them require or deserve more detailed & careful responses. I'm on the case.
I'm all behind with my Invoicing too - not even invoiced December yet, sheesh. The more I get behind, the deeper the hole I seem to get in, psychologically.
This Diary needs bringing up to date, I've not finished with the Beadle stuff yet, as does the Live Update Story thread.
There's been a lot going off BTS at blonde, & it's quite exacting, just keeping up with it all. Or not, as the case may be.
I've not been home for best part of a week really. Luton last Wednesday all-night Cash, Thursday & Friday I did "extended" Sky Shows both nights, Saturday & Sunday I was playing Tourneys all night at
dt
d
, & I've got some lovely memories to commit to paper.
This week? Nothing today or tomorrow, just catching up. My Broadband has been playing the fool, but it seems better today, so I may have half a chance.
Wedneday I have a sort of "secret" engagement, a surprise jobbie, but I'll write about it on Thursday
. On Thursday, I'm supposed to be at
dt
d
with a special friend, but time might be an issue, as I have stuff to do the next two days. Friday, I'm doing some Sky Filming at a players home in Dagenham, he won a Poker Table, Chip Set, & the booby prize too - me dealing for the night at a filmed home game. It'll be fun, but I'm just dreading driving to Dagenham on a Friday evening from Derbyshire. I'll probably book a local hotel so I can arrive early, get ready, & avoid the traffic. And then, on Saturday, I can go from there to the Matchroom Premier League Poker Launch Party, in London. Barry Hearn was kind enough to invite me, & threw in 4 tickets for the blondes, so although I loathe those kind of "dos" with a vengeance, especially if alcohol does it's usual trick of transforming otherwise decent people into blathering idiots, it should be OK. As it happens, I enjoy "funny" drunks, but the boorish loud ones just do my head in. I need to work on my tolerance. Then again, I don't give a shit.
And that'll be another week done & dusted.
Next week, of course, it's the Walsall GUKPT Fessie & the very tempting Paris Open at The Aviation. Work has destroyed my poker Diary that week, but I hope to manage a support Event or two at Walsall. If I get lucky, & a meet in London on Monday lunchtime ends quickly enough, I'll play the £200 Freeze on Monday, the £300 two-day Double Chance on Tuesday, & the Omaha on Wednesday. My cash to tourney ratio in Omaha Comps is excelent, though the sample size is small. All the GUKPT Side Events are beautifully structured, & the Structures have been known for over a month already - for the whole year. How unique - & good - is that? Well played Lord Raab.
But first - obviously - Wind Farms.

Carmel comes into the cardroom last night walks over to the dealers game and says "Are you ok Bracket you look like your enjoying yourself and having a good time".
Table decides that Carmel must of confused Bracket with someone else. She wasnt having a good time she wasnt enjoying herself and boy was she moaning.
Where would we be without Hinge and Bracket

In a far far nicer place...It does surprise me that the cash players do not bother asking her why she is there if she is that miserable......I think that there are a number of places that would far better suit her demeanour......suggestions on a postcard to......

I tried to explain this at the table last night but didnt do a very good job.
I was talking about the Stephens Island Wren of New Zealand.
This particular Wren is now extinct and holds the record of being the only known animal ever to be killed off by just one man, or to be exact his cat.

Jim
Apologies for not saying "goodbye and good luck" last night.
Was almost asleep when I left and forgot all about it until in the car. It even took me about 20 minutes from when the buffet was served to figure out it was for you - and thats AFTER seeing the balloons and banners lol
Good luck and safe trip m8.

The American Election has produced some sickening cliches, Hillary turning on the waterworks every few days, but they are all much of a muchness, with liberal sprinklings of "this is for our children's children", "your vote shows you care about America", "America is a great Nation because of YOU, the people", "America is the world's peacekeeper" (!), & much more besides. Hillary smiling & working her audiences is another sight that is way too schmucky to bear watching.
But I was astonished to see that Obama is only 46 years old.

The whole lot is a mess as far as I'm concerned. The Republicans are fighting amongst themselves and have successfully managed to install a huge divide in their own camp. The Democrats are going for a 'first' which is splitting them up. Hillary will more than likely cry her way into the White House, provided she doesn't annoy the voters too much between now and then. Obama, God forgive me for saying it, but more than likely wouldn't see Inauguration Day if he were elected. Some freak with racial issues would make it his mission to see to that.
Rumour has it Bloomberg is kicking around entering the race as an Independent. I sure hope the rumours are true and promise it would blow this election carry on wide open.

I'll try & reply to some of these Posts later today, when I reach my Hotel, I'm just about to head South, to Dagenham, for some work tonight. The M1 & M25 on a Friday afternoon, marvellous.....
Was achingly tired yesterday, & was in bed before Midnight, but was up at 9 this morning, as fresh as a daisy. I just can't fathom why I'm always so tired these days.
Had an interesting & very special evening at Luton on Wednesday, more of which later, (out of time right now), but played all night cash at Luton, & then went home & worked all day catching up on e-Mails, & Invoicing. Got a BIG batch of invoices raised, two months-worth, & it's amazing how they add up.
OK, the M1 & M25 await.
