my office has no dress code so, being a creature of comfort, I wear jeans and trainers to work every day.  There are a lot of people though that are suited and booted all week and dress down on Fridays.  I only bother dressing up if I'm due to meet with people from outside.

Ditto, shorts in summer too...

SHORTS?

This is too much.

You are BANNED, Disruptive elements feeding their radical ideas around are not welcome here.

What you are suggesting is only one step away from open-toed sandals, Lord help us.

Jeans and T-shirts all week for me unless I have any serious meetings....go on have a go at my employers and tell them what you think of them!!!!

I thought the cult had to adhere to these wise words. I have immediately put on trousers a blazer, my best cravat and a silk tie.

That's better. Though I counsel against a cravat AND a tie. Cravat's are for informal occasions - poker & the like.

Don't forget the shoes - shiny - but Brogues are acceptable. On a Friday. If they are black.

TJ, what does one wear when partaking in a meal at a fine Indian restaurant?

I have the tie around my head a la Jessy May, If you wish I can also put on some under pants too but feel this may lead to restriction of trade around my nether regions.

One does not dine at Indian Restaurants. Foreign food sucks. I have never set foot in an Indian Restaurant in my entrire life, & never shall.

I can't imagine there is much passing trade down there these days.

outside as in someone that doesn't work in my office.  I have been known to wear shorts and flip flops to work in the summer too.  And yes, some of the blokes wear shorts and open toed sandals.

I'm sorry to hear you'll never have me under you - I'll just have to aspire to the fast track and getting a position of authority over you instead.

You are sadly missing out on some of the finest cuisine in the world.  I'm quite sure you haven't tried Japanese food either?  Such a shame.
