I do the
Sky
Poker
Show tonight, it must be about my 75th or 76th Show for them, but it's far & away the most important one I've ever done.
Good luck for tonight TK .................. but don't think you really need it.
Your best work is when you and Orford are paired (IMO), and the shows that I've seen you do together are quality.

Agreed. The standard of the presenters ranges from amateurish to top class, and Orford's top of the league imo.

tony good luck with tonights five0 show.
by talking to rooks and ling i know how important it is for the show to be successful with the switch over to sky sports channels and how excited all involved in the show are.
i have no doubt that sky have got it right for tonights first show with the pairing of yourself with richard.
without doubt and bar none richard orford is skypokers biggest asset. an absolute master of delivery and still as fresh as ever even though hes been around since the early days.
i love doing shows with richard and i am lucky to have done many of my sky appearances with him as the presenter, i think u have to be in the studio to really appreciate how good he is, how quick and funny his ad-libs are and how he moves the show along at a perfect pace.
as for yourself tony you are far and away the best analyst on the show, unlike mr orford who was great from the star imo you have grown into the role, your analysing of the hands has always been great but you have developed as a presenter yourself and your delivery is now honed to perfection.
together yourself and richard make a great pairing, you make a great stooge to richards funnyman also weighing in yourself with some witty comments.
and those of us priveledged enough to witness mr kendall's performance in newcastle where he worked tirelessly for 2 days solid for at least 10 hours each day always with a joke and a smile on his face and time for everyone.
amateur tony? i think not you've grown into a true professional!

Was delighted to see you this past week-end, but kept my distance (a bit) because I knew you were up to yer eyeballs in it running the tournament...and doing a VERY fine job, indeed.
As for this diary. Love it!!! We get to see what's going on in that brain of yours when you're given time to think. So please, I know you're busy, but whenever you have time...give a visit and a post or two here in your diary. Makes up for not having the proper chats when everyone's busy at live events.
Last, but not least...MIND YERSELF!!! I've still not recovered from the week-end, so I've no idea how you're managing it.

We are all ready. We have a little Rehearsal at 7.30, & that's that. SIG. We've had a Team Meet this afternoon, a sort of Corporate Cuddle, & everyone is up for it.

Thanks Paul.
I forgot to mention that 'Ling (blonde skrikera) is Producer, so we are in excellent hands. We've been moved to Sly Sports Extra I think, due to some football match - Chelsea? - but that's OK. It'll go to SS2 next week.

It was grand to see you at the weekend.
More than I can say about Iron. I was announcing All-In's, & he summoned me right across the Cardroom - "tikay, come here, QUICK, 3 way All-In". (This was in Level One - it must have been, he was still in).
I rushed across, fought my way round the obstacle course that Cardrooms are, & got there.
And I announce, almost gob-smacked, "wow, THREE WAY ALL-IN, & ONE OF THE PLAYERS IS HOLDING
...another
, & the third has
"....
Now I've got their attention, & 250 folks are listening, I turn my attention to the Board. "And with THREE players all-in, , A-3, 5-8, 2-4, the Board reads......
......"
Bloody Scottish buffoon.
