It can't be possible for many of the rooms to have an external window, unless the rooms are only on the perimeter - & if so, in which case, what do they do with the rest of the "dead" space?

I stayed in the Luxor last year (don't recommend it btw Smiley).  Anyway, all the 'pyramid rooms' are built around the circumference of the building and have  windows but on an angle.

I also wouldn't recommend the lifts in there to anyone that gets seasick - there is one on each corner of the building and instead of travelling straight up and down it follows the line of the pyriamid.  Again, I'm struggling to put this into words properly so will try to find an explanatory article.

That room would  make me sick...that's just wrong.

Thanks Claire, & it neatly makes the point - it does not work! What on earth do they do with all the dead space in the middle?

Well, yesterday was a BAD day, though I won't go into it now.

Today, was a BADDER day, ditto. (Car shunt apart).

When I have probs, or "issues", I have to work them off, to ease the aches, if you like. It's a sort of "funny-bone" mentality.

So I've written for all these hours, just to purge the two bad days away. Now I'm dog-tired, am filming at 10am (Indoor skydiving I think, wtf?), & I know I'll feel shite when I get up. Late, no doubt.

I was tired when I arrived here, had a few probs, & stayed up all night writing. Next night, last night, I was a good boy, & was in bed by 11pm, & slept 10 hours straight, & felt marvellous this morning.

But now I've gone & started the damn tiredness cycle again.

If I were someone else, I'd say they were plain daft.

Night all.

This is the atrium level at the Luxor, which sits above the casino floor.

you can see around the perimeter of the building the corridors where the guest rooms are.

Today, on Interstatre 5, Northbound, between Sahara & (?), I ran into the back of another car. I've never done that in 45 years of driving, & was devestated.

Not much damage, except to my pride & ego. I was lost, not concentrating fully - mind elsewhere - the nose-to-tail 40mph traffic jam stopped quickly, & I could not stop in time. My fault completely.

All accidents are due to speeding - FACT.  So you must have been speeding.

Oh, but you weren't speeding, you were driving at an inappropriate speed and leaving too small a gap between you and the car in front.  The arbitrary speed limit of that road was irrelevant, wasn't it?

(Glad no one was injured, except for your pride)
