LOL @ "Strict diet regime" and then posting a picture of me eating a club sandwich!  Not exactly a fat free sandwich, but I didn't eat the bacon nor the pasta thing on the side lol.

Im not so much on a "diet" which is a ridiculous word for the these things anyway, seeing as the whole world is on a diet of food otherwise no one would eat a thing !??!  I would call what I am doing a habbit overhaul.  I had a riduculous pattern of going to sleep between 5am - 7am, sat on my backside with a laptop for hours on end hardly moving - eating all sorts all shite through the night.

All resulting in me putting on a stone and a half since vegas last year.  I used that example because it was exactly a year ago and exactly when I stopped smoking.  I know that has aided my metabolism slow down to add insult to injury.  Well I was not gonna allow it to happen.  I refused to turn into the stereotypical Greek women i.e little greek barrell.  Something had to be done to stop my gut seeking further destinations than just my midriff.

So thats it, today is week 3 of my new life and I feel great.  I go to the gym 5 times a week and eat sensibly, certainly not starving myself and I actually eat very regular to keep things ticking over.  I have lost 5llbs already, for the first time in my life I look forward to the gym because I am doing weights now which I have never tried in the past.  And all in the back of my mind I am pushing towards my favourite reward for all this work - September 21st - sat on a beach in Cyprus not feeling like a whale.

Yeah I know, I feel so stupid for not knowing this in the past and just doing bits and peices on divvy machines at gyms.  There are so many ways to do weights, not just the stereotypical bulk up like a freak way.

Went to DTD last night, played the £100, & finished 10th or 11th I think. That's now 12 Tourneys on the bounce without a single Cash - & most of them small ones. I suck at poker right now.

And I've had 5 straight losing Cash Sessions. Until last night, when I sat in the 4/5/6 Omaha £1-£2 with Rob Yong, Chubbs, etc, & turned £1,000 into......£1,008. Ah well. maybe the tide has turned.

I played OK-ish in the £100 Freezeout, & caught a few cards, but I made a bit of a move (mistakenly, obv) with A-9 & Bookiebasher made a good call for half his stack with A-J. He played terrific, though his new haircut is nothing short of an eyesore. He got 3rd, I think - whatever, well done him.

There were some real odd hands in the £100-er.

Geezer next to me - nice lad - wanted to go home, had loads of chips, so told the Table, "I'm just gonna keep shoving, every hand". Which made it a bit scary, playing mediyum pairs, for example.

Eventually, Tom shoves, & Wanna-Go-Home-Geezer looks him up.

Tom has 3-3, WGHG has.....4-4! Tom looked gutted.

But the board came K-9-K-9-8......The Eight kicker was good enough for a chop. Don't see that too often!

Then we saw a three way all-in, & the Board came K-Q-Q-K-Q........! Chop it up, again.

Terrific atmo there again. Spent some time with Rob Yong, & he's quite pleased, I sense, with the move to 5 day opening, & seems to have a renewed appetite for the Club, playing Cash most every night now, & working his way round every table. He wants, I think, to know everyone on first-name terms - as you would in any Home-Game.

Chubbs, Nick Whiten, & the ever busy Mother Hen well all present & correct.

Happy Days.

Luton tonight, for the peace & quiet of their excellent £50 + £50 + £50.

Time I cashed again, too.

So, I did the Presenter Shift on Saturday, after over 100 Analyst Shifts, & almost got away with it. Because I did not have time to do my own script, & had to read someone else's, & as a result, I fumbled my words a few times. I prefer no script, just a series of Auto-Cue prompts, as I can ad-lib away off the back of those much better.

Technically, I'm sure Orford & Compo have nothing to worry about from me. But in my own little book, I was very proud of myself - Prersenting a 3 Hour Live Show is some feat for someone with my background & abilities.

I got a lovely Text, then a note, from my TV Boss chappie (Miami Vic) who said "you did extremely well. All things Considered......". That's "you were a complete donkey" then. Really top bloke, is Mr Vic.

But a nice surprise today - they pay Extra for Presenters, & I'm being paid the Presenter Rate for Saturday. Happy Days. And they've said they will put me down as a "Reserve" Presenter. That'll do for me. I like being an Analyst, more freedom to waffle & blather, but there is a buzz from Presenting.

Car Service in the morning at 10.30am, Telecon at 1pm, & the e-Mail pile after that. Luton Wednesday, Meet at Isleworth on Thursday, Shows Thursday & Sunday, I think.

I've got bills & unpaid parking tickets all over the place, & I just can't be arsed to sort them out.

The Tablets are doing the trick, & solving the problem, but they make me feel like absolute shite in the mornings, & it was all I could do to get up this morning. Still, a few more days & it'll all be tickety-boo.

The Tab;lets have one of those "WARNING, READ THIS" pamphlets. It says two side-effects are "being tired, & confused". I'll look out for that. How the hell would I know if I was confused?
