TK, Jeremy Clarkson has 17 unpaid speeding tickets in the state of Nevada alone...wouldnt worry about it too much. (Unless you've caused an accident or something of course, but I'm sure that someone with your experience would never let that happen).

To be honest, Mr Baldie Sir, my real worry is that when I return to Vegas, I'll get problems at Immigation. You know how small minded them there septics can be.

said he'd mend it for me - it would not ring, & was on some sort of "Call Divert".
I get to Luton, & Simon ambles up. "Where is it then?" says the portly one, blindly ignoring my shiny new super-phone laying on the table in front of him. "Right there, in front of you" I say.
"No, that's your old one, I assume".
"No, it's my new one, only been on the market for 3 weeks, all the kids on the street are well jealous".
"New? It looks like an ex Russian Army secondhand one to me".......
I was so hurting.
I sent a Text this morning though, & it only took 11 attempts. That's an improvement.
I'm really very grateful to Chili. It's possible - not saying it's true, just possible - that in fact, the problem with the 'phone might be "user error".....
First thing we did was prove that it could make a call (we tried to ring Compo's phone in the cash game at just the right moment to kill his hand..) and receive incoming calls. I pointed out (repeatedly) that pressing the wrong buttons didn't appear to be helping. Then the conversation went like this:
SG: So that's the phone ringing, what else do you want it to do?
TK: I want my old phone back.
SG: Would you like me to show you how to use the camera?
TK: I want my old phone back.
SG: Quickly find a contact or set up a shortcut?
TK: I want my old phone back.
SG: Synchronise with your laptop contacts?
TK: I want my old phone back.
SG: Shall I peel the stickers off for you?
TK: I want my old phone back.
SG: Would you like your old phone back?
TK: I want my old phone back.
Etc...

As far as I know, customs in the States still does not check if you have outstanding traffic offenses (minor ones anyways) if you enter but I can see why you would rather just pay the fine.
You could of course also just travel up through Mexico next time you go, sure its a bit of a walk but itll do you good

Trust YOU to pick up on that......
Great to see you on Thursday Ralph.
My "form" is like yours right now, & I admire your discipline & self-control in daying "nope, I'm not playing the biggie, I'm out of form".
With great age, comes great wisdom.
Just had THE most lovely, & erotic, text. Ooohhhhhhh. Can't say any more about it. Bound to please, so to speak.
PS - The text was NOT from Karabiner.

You'll have no problems with immigration, I got chucked out by immigration about 15 years ago from the US and there was no record on my return (in fact when I next returned I'd forgotten about the previous incident until on the plane over there and was absolutely crapping myself, but thats another story). However if you get stopped by the police again in Nevada there is a chance they might put you in a cell overnight LOL, I'm not joking. I know it applies in some states whether it does in nevada I'm not sure of though.
