I think Boris is difinitely my new hero
"we invented ping-pong, but we called it wiff-waff.
Ping pongs coming home......"
Was he sober?
I've just seen the Boris video on the bbc new website - I'm crying with laughter! The man is a genuis - thank god we didn't have that noob Livingston still in, with his nasal, boring voice!
The best line imo: "The French saw a dining table & saw an opportunity to eat. We, the British, saw a diniing table & saw an opportunity to play Wiff-Waff!"
Priceless

Basic summary would be accusation of someone attempting to "buy" another person's chips at last years live final to help his team win. Said person said it was only a drunken conversation and didn't actually happen.
his statement has been C/Ped in the punters lounge forum

Compo and Kev probably have the entire cast of the second picture tatooed on their arses if it's the last spuds team to win the league in 1960/61.
First pic was Danny Blanchflower I think, and maybe Duncan Edwards...

Wrong on both counts.
Nearest - legendary winger. Welsh.
Behind him. Later became Manager of two famous clubs, one was Brentford, he eventually became known as "Bung-Man".

I was gonna go for the team pic, and do them one at a time .... So started with The Legend and skipper.
The action pic ... Im struggling with the other player, looks a bit like a young Frank McLintock ... but it cant be him.

Name the ground. 1950. Bonus point if you name the teams. Karabiner can be seen in the crowd.

Team Pic - OK, fair enough.
Action pic - why can't it be Frank?
