Hi Tikay

I had a Matchless 350 single and a 500 single, got a picture somewhere ,will look it out

Ok, did you notice there was NO suspension on the rear wheel, it did make it bounce about a bit on the road

We used to sit far forward on to the tank to make it more comfortable.

I later had a Triumph 650 combo with a Watsonian soft top sidecar. Made by Gus Khan of north London

I had a Watsonian sidecar, to! I purchased an ex AA BSA 500cc long-stroke single, with sidecar chassis, all for £50, & fitted a Watsonian sidecar to it. Unfortunately, I had a coming together with an unexpected bridge parapet, & it was totally wrecked.

Later I had a Velocatte, Triumph, another Beezer, a James (Villiers engine) and my last motorbike was a Gold Star. I fell off twice, & so then I decided it was time to go get myself a car.

Lovely evening at Luton tonight. Good to see Tighty back, & there was a rare visitor these days to Luton in Paul Garnham.

The Final was a jolly affair, blondes galore, including At-It Bradley in his pyjamas, Claw75, looking splendid, Celtic, not looking splendid, Keith Miller, & a few new faces.

I busted 7th, I'm hopeless right now, but Claire, At-It, & Celtic were all in good shape when I departed.

Dingdell is on fire!

I recounted earlier her three in a row at DTD, Luton, & Luton, for over £2,500.

Tonight, she won her seat to Saturdays Sky Poker Tour Leg One at DTD in a super-sat, & followed that up immediately after with 2nd in "The Open" for £800+. Confidence is a wonderful thing, as is a £3k+ bankroll boost. Well done her.

Claire should also cash tonight at Luton, fingers crossed for her.

Thursday is my last day of rest for a few days, I get busy from Friday. & I'm pleased about that, doing no work is not much fun, & I find it hard to relax.

I head to London on Friday to do the Show, & have to whizz straight home after, (I can be home by 03.30) & be at DTD in Nottingham by 11am Saturday.

I should be done there about 4am on Sunday, & drive straight down to Hickstead Lodge Hotel, just north of Brighton, where I'm booked for 3 nights.

At Noon on Sunday I'm due at "The Weekly Poker Club" National Finals at Hove Greyhound Stadium, spreading the Sky Poker word. Should be finished late evening.

On Monday at midday, I'm visiting a Childrens Hospice & "Special Needs" home in East Grinstead, The Weekly Poker Club support them via a % of revenues. I'm not sure how I'm gonna cope with that, but I'm not gonna bottle it.

Back to the Hotel after for some rest, I hope, & then in the evening, a Regional TWPC Tourney at the Wheatsheaf Pub, again flying the Sky Poker Flag. Stay over for the last night at Hickstead - I really love that Hotel, & TWPC have paid for my hotel cost - and then the short hop up to Feltham on Tuesday to do the Show, then back home on Wednesday.

That's how I like it.

I'd like to take some pics at the Hospice/Home, but I'm not sure if they'll allow me, or even if it's ethical or PC. We shall see.

Text just in from Claire - she Chopped it, Heads-Up! Must be fat end of a grand.  Great news, that's a lovely bankroll booster for her.

I had an odd sort of birthday. Alone all day, as I prefer it, but lots of phone calls, texts, & e-Mails. I'm oddly "out of sorts" right now, in my head, but physically, I'm fully recovered, & feel good. Tom has been very supportive, he somehow knows how to keep the right "distance" (I can't stand being fussed over) but also close when needed, & we swapped a few PM's.

A lot of calls today about Saturdays Sky Poker Day at DTD, with a few days to go before these things there are always lots of odds & sods to sort out, but we are all set I think. The Film Crew & Producer (including Ismene/'Ling) went up there today for a recce, & seemed well pleased with what they saw.

Clive Lawrence, the Exec Producr of Poker 425 & Poker Week, rung me, & we had a good chinwag about possible future plans. Be nice to get that back again!

Denis O'Mahoney rung me, but we kept missing each other.

Had "Birthday calls" fom all the big suits at Sky, as well as most of the Team. Texts & calls came in from Julian (who's in Barca), Ding, Chili, Compo, Des, Robert, Claire Cook, 'Ling, & I got a birthday card tonight from Claire.

Celia rung me from Aussie, as expected, & I missed it, as expected.....as I was still in bed, and a card & pressie arrived from Kenny as per. It's nice to get these, but they slightly embarrass me for some reason, I'd prefer no fuss.

I've not opened Facebook today - I rarely do - but I get e-Mail notification of all Posts & Messages, & there must have been 30 or more. I must try & answer them tonorrow.

My thanks to all the blondes who posted on my "birthday thread", & in here. I appreciate it.

Oh, & I got a really nice pressie from Ding.

Another birthday, another year.

Christmas next!

How to Play Aces. Not.

In the £200 Final at DTD on Sunday, with Blinds 1k-2k, & 8 players left, it went.....

Limp

Limp

Limp

Limp ( Button).

Make up.

Check.

The Button had? Aces! So he elected to take a flop 6 handed, unless either of the Blinds Raised. Needless to say, his Aces got turmed over.

"Creative play".
