As busy as you are I for one will except NO excuse if you dont play the
Trill
ion
game next month...and I dont mean your usual show up and donk your chips for a quick exit.
I know you have loads on your plate but WE REALLY WANT TO WIN THIS!!!
PLEASE use your charms and get everyone involved
Well I have never
deliberately
donked off my chips for a quick exit Suzanne, I just play bad!
What date is the next one? If I'm not working, I'll play it.
And yes, I'll try to help Kev & Tighty get as many folks as possible involved. I gather we got a bit of a pasting tonight, thank the Lord for Byron, eh? We should make him Lord Byron. Oops, we already had one of them.
25th of November
Its very disillusional when there is a forum challenge and all the best players are busy :-(
Surely it wouldnt be too hard for all you multitable pros to open up a bloody $10 MTT and support us?
Well I've never multi-tabled in my life, & have absolutely no desire so to do, so I'll assume that excuses me from the point!
I simply was not aware it was tonight, & so missed it. It was not intentional, I'm just disorganized.
As an aside, I'm no big fan of inter-Forum Challenges, or "Team Poker", never have been, poker is an individual pursuit, but that's another story.
Aww Tony the multi-table was not aimed at you or any individual...it was aimed at the many who do and who could quite easily open up one more table and support the forum.
After your comment its unlikely to happen now.
You'll have to explain that, please.

I do enjoy the Posts of MANTIS,
yes thats a bad sign
The lad get's a lot of stick, not constructive stuff, just "lol at your drivel", but at least he takes the time & effort not just to say "hey, I think that's wrong", but, more importantly, he explains why, in his opinion, it's wrong. Being told "that's wrong" is of no help to anyone. Being told "why" is what matters.
the point is, its words that many eyes dont need to see. Yes, he makes an effort, but imagine you were a lethario and someone tried to explain, in 500 words, how you could best turn on a lady by using a turgid pinapple and a packet of matches.. you would say, "well that dont make any sense, and that the guy spends so many words explaining it is a bad reflection upon his character"
its the internet, you can easily make clear in a few words wht you want to say. If you need to use a thousand words to say nothing, its a bad thing.
Why? It might be "nothing" to you, it may be gold-dust to others.
It is one of my great regrets with blonde, which I wanted to be a decent place. If folks don't like something, or someone, or their Posts, they are not forced to read them, or comment rudely about them.
What a load of b*ll*cks.
Good job you remembered the smiley......

Rooks,
A day at an NFL game is something special, like you've never seen in the UK.
Go early, there's pre-match, mid-match, & post-match entertainment, everything, it's huge fun.
When we in the UK eventually wake up to looking after punters (oops), you'll see such a change. For now, an NFL Game is as good as it gets, if you want a fun day.
'Ling will enjoy it, too.

Yeah, almost everything in America that I have witnessed has been so much better to England.
From Customer Service at Restaurants, to just having clean roads and surroundings. It's amazing how much better you feel by having clean, wide roads with the grass either side actually cut down!
We are going to get there about 4 hours early just to make sure we pick up the tickets ok and get parked.

Jesus H Christ
Take a few days off, and this thread alone has taken me nearly two hours to catch up on.
One small point feels worthy of comment.
With no disrespect to Tighty, Kev, and anyone else, the idea of you, Mr Tikay himself playing on Blonde more
would
be a big thing to the lower class players like myself. You are, whether you like it or not, the figurehead of this place, and are the only reason people like me turn up in the first place ( although not the reason we keep coming back, obviously ).
I reckon it could be worked to get more traffic occaisionally. Personally, I can't invest my meagre 'roll in Blonde until I can get it out of Mansion, but I'll get there, and I'm sure many others would be willing to as well. It sometimes appears that Blonde poker is a bit of a side issue, rather than a major part of the blonde community.

"It sometimes appears that Blonde poker is a bit of a side issue, rather than a major part of the blonde community."
It's not, its vital.
The catch-22 is that we have to promote third party sites on a commercial basis because our card-room does not generate sufficient revenue, but the more we promote third parties the tougher it is to generate that card-room revenue.
