Stunning pics Rod, thank you.

Aside from the sheer wow factor of the pics, the thing that struck me was how much grief there is around the world.

Bombings & terrorist stuff, peeps blown to bits, kids killed, floods, forest fires, half of Africa is in dire straits, & there's us, in the "modern world", worrying about a credit crunch. Seen in context, "it's only money" comes to mind.

Oddly, the pain & suffering apart, I took away two very distinct memories of those pics. That amazing TV Tower, in China - you see the sheer scale of it by comparing it with other buildings below - & that boat stranded on the French Coast.

Photographs say so much, I sometimes stare at them for hours.

Thanks.

Good grief, that's bang out of order. I had not seen it, until you prompted me to check my inbox, & there it was.

That might just infringe my Image Rights.

Still, at least there's also a pic of Campo Compo.

Ho-Ho-Ho indeed. I mean, can you IMAGINE me, in a Santa Outfit, giving it all that Ho-Ho-Ho stuff?

I'm hurting.

Not to my knowledge, I did notice they explained the Ronaldinho pic as it really looked faked.....

Here's part 3:

Here's a fascinating, but rather gruesome set of photos of a man eaten by piranhas.

It's not for the squeamish, so please don't look if it's not your cup of tea.

that may be the sickest thing ive ever seen, especially because of how it happend!

I watched a documentary once that said it was all a bit of a misconception about piranhas and they very rarley attack humans, they were in a small village in south america and the kids and women were in the water with them.

Jim McShane sent me this tonight.

Taken in Las Vegas, Neveda, yesterday. That white stuff is snow.

This was my back garden 2 days ago, expecting more over the weekend thru Tuesday

Schools were closed yesterday for the 1st time since 1978, which was the 1st time since 1948. I believe in patterns and cycles a lot more than i do global warming.
