If I tried to kiss a gizzly bear I would expect tongue injury minimum. Some people have v little sense imo.

Great news, inbound from Blue Square today, via this Press Relase from Mike Butlin. It's winna-winna to my mind, a great deal for both sides. Nice one Jeff.
"Kimber turns from red to blue!
Blue Square Poker, sponsors of both the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) and Amateur Poker Association and Tour (APAT) are pleased to announce sponsorship of professional poker player, Jeff Kimber.
Jeff, 34, is best known for winning the 2007 World Heads-Up Championship in Barcelona and Leg 2 of the 2008 GUKPT, whilst he also finished in 120th position at the 2008 World Series of Poker main event.
Jeff joins Blue Square Poker’s existing stable of professional players – Mickey Wernick, Praz Bansi and Karl Mahrenholz.
Formerly sponsored by Ladbrokes, Jeff was snapped up by Blue Square Poker at the end of this deal and Mike Butlin , Commercial Manager at Blue Square Poker, commented:
“Jeff has proven to be one the most talented and popular players in the UK over a number of years and we are delighted he will now be representing Blue Square Poker. No doubt he’ll be doing so on many final tables in the near future.”
Jeff added:
“I’m very happy to join such a strong team of sponsored players at Blue Square Poker and to be representing a company who put so much into the UK poker circuit.”

3 years, Ralph, but the rest of the question whooshed me. Guess I'll have to google Hannibal Lector now.

Thanks Tony, I'm really chuffed with the Blue Square deal. And to think, was only perusing your diary to read the write up of that omaha cash game we played in the Vic on Sunday night

Oh, that wil come, in due course.
Truth to tell, I only made one mistake - sitting down with you lot in the first place.
Still, I've sponsored Karl into the next GUKPT.......always a bright side, see?

If anyone has a copy of today's London Evening Standard (we don't get it up here), can you save me copy, please? I gather it has an interesting article about
Achilleas
Kalakkis
.
I gather it's along the same lines as the piece in The Guardian a few days ago. Which was most interesting.
