Just nipped over to my local shop for a packet of cigarettes and some High School Musical stickers.  Whilst waiting to be served I spotted a packet of Jack Link's premium cuts Original Beef Jerky and added it to my shopping.  I'll post a review when I've scoffed it.

High School Musical Stickers? Eh?

for my baby, obv Smiley  You know, Panini thingies.

No, I don't know.

Maybe it's a more recent thing, but did you never collect Panini stickers as a kid?  Most popular as I recall were the various football related albums - one for all the big events and one for each 1st division season iirc.  You can buy loads of them now on all different sorts of subjects like, er, High School musical.  You buy the album first, which is full of pictures and a bit of narrative, with lots of spaces for each individually numbered sticker.  You then collect the stickers (which come in packs of 5) until your album is full.  Doubles get saved for swapping in the playground.

Tikay used to swap Dead Sea scrolls in the playground.

Just tried my Jack Link's beef jerky.  Disappointed tbh - doesn't really do much for me.  Not as nice as biltong.  My wild side does not feel sated.  /review

Ryanair made a loss last financial year Tikay, discuss please.

...and yesterday, the Queen of Spain travelled on a regular, scheduled, Ryanair Flight from Stanstead.

Asked to comment by the dumbschmuck Press as to whether she got special treatment, the Ryanair spokesperson volleyed a reply back along the lines of......

"Mo, ALL our passengers get treated llike Royalty"........

Oh God, I so love that company.

Will comment later JD, off out now, got a man to see in Nottingham about a dog.

I plan to spend some time Updating this Diary later today, I'm like the fat lady, I'm all behind.

I leave for Dublin in 20 minutes, for what might be a testing weekend - I'll explain why on Monday.

For now, it's the ancient & undoubtedly heavingly crowded Terminal 1 at Heathrow, & endless queues at Check-In, Baggage payment, Security, & Departure Lounge. Sadly, it's not the unbelievably punctual & efficient Ryanair, it's their hapless friends at Aer Lingus, so it's odds on the flight will be late.

But we arrive mid-afternoon, & don't start work until tomorrow, so I have the luxury of an afternoon & evening off, in a Dublin "Inn". Diary time beckons.

Have a good weekend, wherever you are, whatever you do. Even if you are tez. Wink

I was in Dublin a few weeks ago and took this photo with the intention of posting it on your diary thread. Seems like good timing. I'm sure you know where it is Tikay.

Not wrong. Without warning, as we sat in the Final Departure Lounge, Aer Lingus announced "Flight EI65 to Dublin is Cancelled".  But they stuck us on another Flight, 3 hours later. Heathrow to Dublin by Aer Lingus in 7 hours flat.

PS - Kev - very dodgy internet connection here, so cannot see the pic you have Posted, will comment when I find a decent connection.

Oh, NOW I can see it. How splendid. The RDS, I assume? Weirdest venue ever for an EPT (?), but a quite magnificent building.

Too tired by far, tonight, after a torrid day, but must just Post this......

Thursday might at DTD, the winner was one Chili. She was overdue for that, well played her.

Mention of another friend, too, as news reaches me via a roundabout way of a quite extraordinary feat.

There is a particular Omaha Conp on Laddies every night, 100+ runners I think. Our man has run up a sequence of FIVE consecutive Top 5 finishes this week, including one outright win.

Respect to the wily old dog Karabiner. He's such a top guy, & he could tell a tale or two, were he so inclined.

Nice one Ralph, Maria.
