Sorry I didn't get up to see you.  The Cork Vs. Kerry match completely slipped my mind when I threatened you with a visit.  Consider it a close call and lucky save.  We'll manage it one of these times.

I was tearful the whole weekend.

I will be having a round with Karabiner first, as promised, then I'll show you golf the tikay way.

And I'll answer your Ryanair question later, sorry, been a bit busy.

I played some golf in Stoke with DC & Paul Maxfield - proper Bandits, the pair of them. Maxy plays off about 4!

My friend got  a tee time at Shadow Creek last year during WSOP, unfortunately we had a late night the day before and didnt bother going. FML

Too tired by far, tonight, after a torrid day, but must just Post this......

Thursday might at DTD, the winner was one Chili. She was overdue for that, well played her.

Mention of another friend, too, as news reaches me via a roundabout way of a quite extraordinary feat.

There is a particular Omaha Conp on Laddies every night, 100+ runners I think. Our man has run up a sequence of FIVE consecutive Top 5 finishes this week, including one outright win.

Respect to the wily old dog Karabiner. He's such a top guy, & he could tell a tale or two, were he so inclined.

Nice one Ralph, Maria.

Karabiner won yet another Omaha Comp tonight, on FTP, & scooped $1,470.

Life in the old dog yet.

Congrats, Ralph.

Now win the SPUKT on Saturday. I had the good fortune to present Maria with the winners Trophy when she won Leg One, it'd be real special to present the Final Trophy to another special friend.

Jeez, not the best of nights.....

Worked the whole day in Feltham, very productive, then played Online this evening, cashing small in a Deepstack which took 4 hours, but was huge fun.

Then the fun really began.

Over 20 PM's incoming in just over 2 hours, all on the SPUKT Grand Final, asking every conceivable question. Dealt with them all politely & correctly, I think & hope. Though astonishing that one said "I don't have a Sky Poker Account, can DTD pay me in Cash?"....... After Swansea, when we had made certain T & C's abundantly clear in advance, we still got folks coming on afterwards & challenging T & C's we'd made 100% clear on in advance, so it's a case of belt & braces now.

Then a serious issue - unconnected - arose. Someone was in deep poo, very deep poo, & needed me to act as an intermediary to try & sort something. The only way they could contact me was via my Facebook, which, as you may know, I am passive on, just accepting friend requests rather than give offence by ignoring. (There were over 100 Friend Requests awaiting "approval" - shows how often I visit Facebook!).

So I wrote a long-e-Mail to so & so, detailing the problem, then went back on Facebook to let the guy in the poo know I was on the case, & doing what I could. It was a sad case, a bad but genuine misunderstanding, with serious consequences.

At which point, a sort of Facebook version of an MSN "pop-up" occurred. I have MSN, but refuse to use it, it's dormant, so I can only assume it was a Facebook Application.

And it said....

"Listen wanker, how should I play AK in early position then?".....

It is perhaps fortunate that I did not reply.

Tonight, I shall mainly be tetchy.
