poor old sicilian must've spent his whole childhood wondering why no-one else was laughing at hayley wick's name
Possibly a regional thing as we had 2 local to us .... her brother didnt laugh as he endured 5 years of taunts.......
Lol if only id known would have been a great level to come out with some random name and u lot desperately trying to figure it out

I think some of his work has a lot of merit as far as modern stuff goes, A lot of what can pass as modern art is just rubbish though.
Im not a fan of all his work but some of it really hits the nail and gives you something to read into.

I was going to say it's probably an age thing, but you obviously put pay to that theory.

I don't dislike him, or like him for that matter, I just said his so-called "art" is tosh.
Art is paintings & stuff.
Banksy is just comedy. And it's the Emporor's Suit of Clothes, too, everybody is scared to say it's tosh because of peer pressure. He's about as valid as that Tracey Vermin floosey.

I must be getting old I totally agree with this
this is the tunnel next to where i used to work in waterloo,at 1st it was all done by "artist" but now its just a haven for anyone with a spray can,as soon as someone puts something up the next day it's been covered by some other load of tosh.

Well, what a week. The Sky Poker Big Thing this weekend has pre-occupied me the whole week, & it's nearly upon us now.
I've just finished doing the Show - it's 1am - & now I head home, & should be there for about 4am.
Orpey & Orford are in Nottingham already - I heard Orford was doing well in tonight's £75 jobbie there - & the rest of the Crew travel up on Saturday.
We meet at DTD at 11am, doors open at Noon, & I'll be absolutely bricking it until the Tourney starts. I get very tense pre-Tourney in these things, but we are in safe hands at DTD. So if you come chat to me before the Tourney, my apologies if I seem tense or distant.
The Tourney is odd. We started the week with about 140 runners, but it just exploded with interest, direct buy-ins galore, staking threads, betting threads, all sorts, & it sold out (270 seats) with 3 days to spare. The Sky Poker community shares a values with blonde - that community thing - so lots of Sky Poker & blonde players there, plus a smattering of Circuit faces. I will know most of them, & yet I'm uber-nervous, especially about the pre-Tourney speech thing, & the commentary. I really want a "no-name" to win it, but I don't care that much who wins, I just hope the Long-Faces & Mardy Bums don't spoil it for those for whom this is the biggest poker weekend of their life.
As to the commentary, we commentate on SPUKT Events from start to finish, & cover every all-in, & hype it up a bit for entertainment purposes. The non SPUKT players at DTD over the weekend won't like thart much, nor I suspect wiill the Big Boys. Hey-ho.
So, two 14 hour days in prospect, but that's fine, I was made to be a workhorse, & I love every minute. At these gigs, I do a good bit of the Commentary, meet & greet stuff, fiffing & faffing, "Ambassador" bit, + we are doing a two-part In-Poker, and there will be three Live Phone-Ins to the Show on both Saturday & Sunday. That should keep me out of trouble. At no stage will I get tired - I can go forever, & adrenelin is a clever thing - but on Monday, I'll be running on fumes.
Another thing I need to talk about are some developments in my role at Sky, which has caused a few minor complications. But I'll bare all when I next get Online, & then it's out in the open, & I don't need to carry my secret round any more.
blonde are running a Live Update this weekend at Bolton, sponsored by Minted, & Kev is in the Chair, so I hope you support that, there's nothing worse than doing a dead Live Update. Trust me, I've done plenty in blonde's early days.
For those at DTD, please, if you need to open a Sky Poker account, use the blonde Link - it makes a BIG difference to blonde.
Anyways, whatever you are doing, & wherever you are doing it, enjoy your weekend. I plan to.
OK, the M25 & M1 await.

I hate modern art as well Tikay but Banksy is something special.
