The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

If you liked this film then it's worth watching the original film this was based on "Irriversible"
if you don't mind watching sub-titled films.
Like Memento it has the back-to-front scenes of actions - plus a particularly gruesome (but have to watch lol) scene at the beginning with a fire extinguisher.

It seems unlikely that Memento (2001) was based on Irreversible (2002), I think they both just happened to use reverse chronology and have a couple of plot similarities.

That scene from irreversible was horrible and even though i have a stomach like an ox, fortfied by a lifetime diet of fried breakfasts and a psyche desensitized to violence, due to heavy exposure to horror films and random grand theft auto butchering, I was still semi-traumatised by it.
It's a good film in some ways, well directed with an ominous aura and pulsating soundtrack, but is the complete antithesis to a feel-good film.
Memento, like most of Christopher Nolan's work (one of the best directors around) is brilliantly original and a far superior film imo. Mike from neighbours is excellent in it too.

Memento is excellent. Another great film starring Guy Pearce.....LA Confidential.
Another couple of good films with twisting plots were Angel Heart and The Machinist though, IMO, Hitchcock's Psycho is still No.1.

I was slightly more put off by the 9 minute rape scene that was shot in one take from one camera.
Good film, but prepare yourself before you watch it.
