And so, with the blind levels set at an hour, the blinds will be 5,000 - 10,000.

They're shuffling up and dealing.  And recording.

Here's another crowd scene. Well, a sort of mini-crowd. The Walsall regulars may recognize a face or two. Our Jen is far right, having nabbed a seat, & has got her laptop on, of all places, her lap. That could catch on.

It's a bit quiet in more ways than one - no hand by hand announcing as yet, and no action to speak of.  The dealer is wearing an earpiece.  He looks like a secret service agent.

Here's a view of the railbirds in action. Front row, right to left as we look, is Mick McCluskey, with a very smart Jonathan Rabb of Blue Square.com sat next to him. The guy next to Jonathan was, shortly after this pic was taken, asked to calm down.
I understand his excitement, thats the closest he's ever been to a final table. (Approx 5 ft )

Karabiner, I think, judging by JR's chortling, the answer was "no". He did suggest you could lay HIM a monkey..... Ask The Camel - he's good for a bet, as a rule.

I do believe they are actually playing now. Jen is in the cardroom, I am not, so she'll give you the details. She seems to be really enjoying it, & her enthusiasm shows in her work. "Hoorah", accompanied by waving hands, is her most frequent saying. She really is a most unusual, & quite extraordinary character. An IQ of about 350, & as nutty as a fruitcake.

I'd like to thank her, on behalf of everyone watching, for her devotion to the cause. It's a privelege and a joy to work with her, &, if you don't mind me saying so, you are very lucky to have her as Updater.

The camera-eye view is being shown on the monitors outside the final table area, and I can just about see half of one if I lean sideways.  That's good, because otherwise I'd have no idea what was going on.  Not sure that poker is as good a live spectator sport as it is a televised one.  And there's no popcorn or beer.  I'm going outside for a minute where I might be able to record a hand for you watchers.

surely they are not showing the cards on the TV outside the card room that would be stupid even for a tv company
