David Lloyd ends up all in a classic standard Queens vs Ace King encounter.

David's running commentary for the cards came as follows:

"Queen first card please..."

"Queen please."

"That's good, keep it coming."

two spades

"Brick it out..."

"That's good, last card slowly please..."

Entertaining double-up to say the least.

Marc Goodwin, Ryan Fronda and Glenn Ashworth are all OUT and playing cash together.

Keith Hawkins told me of a good call he made.

He'd limped with three clubs on the button after a few other limpers, the 9-9-2 with two diamonds flop was checked to him and he bet, everyone folded to the last limper who c/raised his 1.2k bet to 4k. The turn was an offsuit 6, the limper checked again, this time check/calling Keith's 4k bet. The river was the , now the limper bet 8.5k and Keith called with his threes, ahead of the busted flush draw of the .

Keith Hawkins is OUT, his failing to hit on the the Q-T-5 two hearts board against Joe Grech's Q-T which housed up on the river.

Chris Bruce has just added to his stack which looks to be around 50k, he just knocked out the superbly named Robert Stain with vs on a board.

Dave Clark c/raised all-in on the turn of a two hearts board taking it down.

Ian Woodley has pushed on a for 12,950 to take a pot down against the small blind, his opponent dwelt and Woodley said, "Slow playing your Aces son? Unlucky." After a muck from other player, Woodley showed .

Meanwhile, here's Raj Modha having been forced to laydown another hand, leaving him fairly short.

Raj modah has just been eliminated in the last hand of the night pushing K8 off suit on the button with his 7k stack into pocket tens in the big blind.

Rookie has nursed his stack earlier back up to the 30k mark, as per our deal earlier. Well done Rookie.

He just won a nice pot off Willie Tann. Limping from the sb, Willie raised another 2.5k which after some chip fiddling, rookie called. The AQ7 flop was chekced by rookie and Willie Tann fired another 3.3k at the pot.

Rookie made the call. The turn brought a king which both players checked at. A low river was also checked by both players and Rookie showed down his A4 which was good enough to take down the 14k pot.

That's it folks. There's no fat ladies but Barry Neville might be just about to break into song. A great day's poker concluded. Bring on day two.....

Happy Bunny here... Dropped to 3.6k after a bluff went wrong, managed to nurse up to 6k before finding AA and getting doubled vs AK. Was on around 15k mark before i took out Alex putting me on 21k. I then move table, (good job, i had an awful reputation and no cards looking likely on the one i was on). New table was bad, donked off 10k straight away and then got them back a round or two later and got up to 30k before moving again to my final table of the night. Last level i had 30k and wasnt going to try and scrape into the next day like some. Made a r/r with A4s on the button forcing willie tann to fold  a bigger ace on sb and the original raiser also to fold.

I call a raise with AQ, flop K 9 5, he checks i fire in 4k, he calls... he checks the blank turn so i fire in 7k and he folds QQ face up - lovely. then i have the A4 hand vs willie that JC mentioned and have made it to saturday with 43,375, from the 3k i was down to at one point!

One Time please Smiley
