On my travels just now, seen a few exits.  Sorry to say Ram Vaswani is a gonner.  He just came and found me and and said "I got one message for you only, see you next year!" And with that headed towards the cash tables.

I caught John Gale on his way down the stairs and towards the door, he said "I told you I wouldnt be about long" I sheepishly asked what but he really didnt wanna tell me.  Bullish bird that I am kinda pushed it out of him.  It was Ben Grundy that did the damage.  In a hand with  three diamonds against Grundy's  the flop:

  three clubs

so that severly damaged Gale and he then lost his very short stack shortly afterwards.

Pre exit

Flushy's just texted to say not only did he get past level 1, he has 18,800 at the break.

I spoke to Flushy during the break and he informed me that even though he had run A-K into K-K and a set of Queens into a set of Kings, he was still on circa 19k. Doesn't that just show how brilliant he is?

Also of interest:

DTD (Dusk Till Dawn) poker club has been given the green light to open by magistrates this afternoon.   Early indications are that the club will open in November.

Adam Stoneham is also missing in action.  His AA was sitting pretty against Patrik Antonius's KK until he spiked a K on the turn, then shortly afterwards he AQ on a Q high flop but ran into the pocket rockets himself this time.

Chris Moorman was down to about 3k but is now sitting prettier on 8,150

Adam Stoneham, who finalled a GUKPT recently, was eliminated moments before the break in circumstances that would make even some of the most stoic of faces wince as if receiving a full body wax.

After Patrik Antonius had limped under the gun, Adam raised it up with Aces and was flat called by the tennis coaching Fin. Both players checked a T-2-3 rainbow Flop, only for Patrik to move all-in over the top of Adam's 1,200 bet on the Six Turn.

Adam called and was shown a rather pleasing Kings, which quickly transformed joy into chagrin as it made trips on the soul-destroying King River.

Harsh one for Stoneham, but elation (although he's hardly going to show it) for Patrik.

What is the link to dusk till down club?

The live club, not the online site

I found Andrew Bell and at the time only had about 5k

Hit squaders Karl Mahrenholz & Praz Bansi were doing well on 13k & 16k respectively.  James Akenhead was doing some yoyoing last I saw.

Please can someone confirm that this is Andrew Bell

I recall someone requesting the Clark clan. Well, here's Clark the younger, currently looking somewhat broody with his 4,450 stack.

There are two Dave Clarks here today, 3 more and we'll have the Dave Clark 5.

The Rockstar John Conroy caught up with me during the last break. He reported of very little movement in his chip stack, just a reasonable jump to 15k. That 5k didn't arise from one pot, just a gentle chipping away of the surface of people's chips, much like when that dude digs the hole in the Shawshank Redemption.

"I've got a great table," reports PunkFloyd. "Not because it's easy, but because it's fun. There's Roberto (Romanello), Ben Grudy and Julian Thew. It's wild."

John was all-in 20 minutes in, but he won the pot uncontested, Roberto claiming to have folded the second flush to John's nut. Do we believe the cheeky Welsh rascal?
