Julian Thew is OUT. No details as yet, the previous hand he'd actually doubled up to 7k so a standard Thewy rollercoaster. Nevertheless, one of these days he'll get that big tourney win that he's due... Wink

I had to post about these two lovely local chaps, I have spent 2 nights getting to know them in the cash game here and are awesome fun.  The first chap is Linton Holling and has me in stiches every time he open's his mouth.

Linton looking rather Jokeresque

Ian "Big Noise" Gardner who says this is his lucky shirt and he wore it in his last big win in "1951."

Priyan De Mel is OUT. A couple of calculated bluffs that went wrong, first with A-Q on a J-T-2-9-7 board that ran into Eights. Then he fired three barrels again into an A-2-3-A-7 board but was check/called by A-J.

Matt Tyler is having a turbulent time, he raised from the cut-off which the button, small and big blinds called. Matt can't remember the exact flop, but he hit a pair and a gutshot draw and lead for 600, the button min-raised and the blinds passed. Sensing weakness, Matt set him in for 6,000 more and was INSTA-called by erm, A-6 for no hand no draw, except the foe managed to hit runner runner straight to knock Matt to just about 1,500. He managed to double up with T-T vs Tim Flander's 6-4 on an 8-6-4 board when the turn brought a second 8 to counterfeit and has since had his Aces paid off and is back up to 13k. A bizarre half-an-hour...

Chris Gavriel is OUT. One of the 'big moves' mentioned earlier that went wrong.

Dominic Kay is also OUT.  No details, just a human size space where he was once sat.

Cheers Chili. Great updates.    Any ideas about "The Gas Man's" sudden exit last night?

Hello Mr River, came back with 15.5k at the last break, raised it up in LP with   too 1600, which was met by an all in (another 3100 to call) his   won. Was down to around 10000, raised a few hands but my raises were not getting much respect (not sure why) so when I had 9 BB's left I decided to move in instead of being re-raised again and ran into a big pair (I had an overcard ahem)

So how are you these days?

I'm afraid not, we saw and heard nothing.

In other news C T Law has doubled up to 25,000 through Jerome Bradpiece.

Nick Hicks is OUT after practically only playing 2 hands all day, the first dent was Kings against Aces and the nail in the coffin was a sick JJ v 88 only for an 8 to smack onto the felt for his oppo..
