What I dont like is that the poor womans christmas savings could be going down the drain because of her pratt of a son!!

It's bad for his Mum. It would be infinitely preferable for this low-life to stump-up himself. But sooner his Mum bear the loss than Action Man surely? She is to some extent responsible for her son's moral code after all.

I disagree. He's 31 and responsible for his own morals but if its the only way he's going to see his cash then so be it....... Action man should deffo not bear the cost as he's the victim in this.

I don't mean she should be held responsible for his actions - but if she raised him, then to some extent she has had a part in how he's 'turned out'. Im my opinion  Smiley

Firstly let me reiterate, I think this guy is scum and probably needs a good slap:

But hypothetically and for the sake of debate: Lets say he made a PROFIT of 1K, would you willingly give him the 1K if thats what he demanded or would you withold a percentage or all of it?

i would have never spoken to him again and given the winnings to charity.

Fair point.

IMO it's probably down to his Mum always bailing him out that she gets turned to for help by the little shit.

It's not however her fauilt he's a little shit. I've had mates who had a great home life & great parents but they turned out to be dodgy users and left their parents distraught, I also know people from really bad famillies (scarilly so) who are the most reliable people you could meet.

Parents can only do so much.

I've been blessed with great parents, so nice that I'm still home a lot of weekends, my good points are theirs, my faults my own.

You say the parents have a few bob...

It's not your problem if they've had to bail him out countless times before...if yoy can get the money off them, do so.

the chalk is in the right hand, but unfortunately there is a shotgun in the other lol. He has just seen my mate and admitted this to him. He has said his mum is going to write out a check of £3.5k to me and that he will pay back £200 per month. This would be a brilliant result. Once/if i get my money i will never speak/see this character again. If i dont get the money he is getting his kneecaps blown off and once the community knows, he will have any ounce of credibility he has left taken away.

Oh and he tried to log into my mates BSQ and dtd account as well.

Going by your posts, doesn't sound as if he has any credibility anyway? One thing I would do if is get him to sign a short note confirming that he did this and that he will pay, you back in order to avoid him denying it at a later date. Good luck with getting the money back.
