Dennis Plejdrup just went out in a really big pot just before the break.

He'd bet out on a three diamonds but was re-raised all-in by we think by Adrian Koy and faced a big decision for his tournament life. He stood-up and decided to go with his read and made the call with Jacks, a good call it turned out as his opponent was on a stone-cold bluff with until he spiked an Ace on the turn, winning what looked to be upwards of a 40k pot.

Bumped into Annette Obrestad just now who was eyeing up her posible opposition and rueing the fact that it appears alot more "known" players will be playing tomorrow and on her table.  I asked her if she enjoyed Paris and her eyes lit up and said "The cash games are awesome, playing a 5 / 5 table with crazy players pulling up 10K was great!"  She assured me she ended up a winner and may even spend a week playing cash in Paris "during the WSOP perhaps in the summer."

Which led to my question of "Oh yeah, I forgot you are not old enough to play there, when will you be able to go?"

Annette - "Not till the summer of 2010."

Jeez, that sounded so so far away for her.......Oh well, being the queen of Europe may be some consolation at the moment, the US of A will have to wait.

Assuming the smilie is because my request came across as gobbeldygook (which often happens), I was just asking if we could have a picture of the wonderfully named Natalio Jose Camacho Casado, if only because she sounds like she has the norkage potential to keep Llevan quiet.  Grin

Isn't Natalio a boy's name? Don't you think Jose as a second name is a clue? Have the pink shoes turned you? Could I ask any more questions?

I don't see many big big names in the list for today although Natalio Jose Camacho Casado seems quite meaty.

We've got a photo of that nobody Jeff 'Jaffafish' Kimber, but surely your viewing public deserves a picture of one of the biggest names of poker?...

Aha, sorry Snoops.  That sentance was just not sinking in at all for some reason.  Now I gets ya, but are you sure its a female name?  Pretty sure that Jose is quite manly LOL.

Riverdave - Dave Penly is doing much better, currently on about 35,000.

Not sure the name of this fashion conscious youngster but "fuschia" appears to be all the rage:

Its took 7 hours for me to realise who Ken Lennaard was, I mean I recognised him but couldn't put the two together.  Well, I found him and just bokked him.  A matey had made it 2.5k preflop and Ken rerasied by the popolar method of, tall tower of blue 1k chips placed over the line. This was effectively putting matey all in.

The dwell came but he couldn't lay down  .  Lennard turned over  to be ahead but an A on board doubled up matey and sent Ken Lennaard down to 15k.

Rob Taylor is OUT at the hands of Daan Ruiter.  His Jacks tripped up on the flop but Daan used his get out of jail free card for the turn when he hit a third King.

The last level of the day has just started.

Riverdave Dave Penly just had a big dwell in a 10k pot when he had 6k bet into him on the river of board but eventually passed.

Jonas Molander is down to a very short 4.5k whilst James Finigan looks to be out, as does Marty Smyth.

As always the updates are top notch and the extra norkage that Chili managed to find has gone down a treat

I'm going to go out on a limb here to impress all our Czech blondepoker members (?!?).  There is a well known Czech over here answering by the name of Pavel Blatny from Brno who is a semi pro poker player and qualified on Pokerstars for $8 or some such.   He is also a 4 time Czech Master of Chess!!!  Blatant chance at getting some puns in!

So when he makes a winning move in a chess game does he say'check mate,Czech mate?'

LLevan you are very welcome.

News of outages but no stories:

Bengt Sonnert
Henning Gradstad

I do believe that Rolf Slotboom is battery powered but by Duracel (other battery makes available) x1000.  He never gives up the chatter, all light hearted but people SURELY tune out and switch off to it.  It really is relentless, not only confined to poker talk or hand analysis but thoughts of food and other such feelings.
