The toilets are very close to the cardroom meaning you miss fewer hands than in other venues.

It's pretty, like on a x board.

Especially compared to the rest of Luton!

They do make you smoke in a cage, but I'm pretty sure that's just there for barry neville.

I feel a Luckylloyd meta theory postage on -EV regarding taking a piss break with this hand.

Or a mantis post describing the hand in such details that the blinds are 100k-200k by the time you have read it!

P.S. Shovel it all in.

Luton G was the first 'Big' Casino I have ever been to.  I had been to the Gutshot once before which I found to be very cliquey and 'space/terminal' possessive by some of the younger players (although the disgruntled chap on reception was a hoot who ended up having a full blown argument with another member of staff - interesting lol).

I experienced none of that at Luton G.    From the second I walked in and registered the desk staff were all smiles and very helpful.  I had a wee moochy about, grabbed a coffee, chatted to staff and customers.  I didn't play that time, just wanted to have a wander around.

The next time I went, about 2 weeks later it was just the same. Helpful and polite staff etc.  This time I played and was fortunate enough to have M3boy on my table - I was a bag of nerves as it was my first live game - Tikay gave my table a quick introduction to me, told them to look after me (whilst introducing my fish status lol) and off he went to his table.  The players were very jokey, serious but jokey and after about 30 minutes I felt at ease.

I cannot comment on blind structures/rake etc not having played too many live games (I usally stick to Turbo style online).

OK, so I have only been there twice, but on both occassions it struck me as a very friendly place where the staff seem to know and acknowledge everyone - I like that.

Struggling with this concept  - please explain....... scared

LOL - and I took her chips as well Smiley

The postcode to the G Casino Luton is correct on their website, whereas the one for the G Casino Manchester sends you to a cul-de-sac a mile or so away from where it actually is...

Did I tell you Tony's sat nav took him to Balliol St too? At least we weren't the only ones Wink

They have the wrong postcode on their website, AND on their posters and flyers.

Daniel... that was why I asked you to host that updated TomTom Casinos POI file. You had a copy of that  before you went to Manchester.

I had it in my sat nav.  But we got a mini-bus over from Ger and Carl's house, and I was advised not to bring it with me.

(also, I didn't know why you changed the address for Manchester - but I do now!)
