just don't really see the point of the daily weigh tbh.  But then I hardly ever weigh myself anyway - i know if i'm putting on weight when my clothes get tighter and I know it's coming off when i don't have to breath in to do up my jeans anymore.  I've only consciously dieted 2-3 times in my life, and weighed myself a couple of times a week and NEVER when it's been the wrong time of the month Smiley  No right or wrong really, whatever works for the individual.

Tom, if you were staked (or partially staked), will you play the WSOP main event?

So now that Tony has cleared up the confusion, I can answer your question Keith.

I used to think that the WSOP main event must be the worst value tournament imaginable. but I've come to realise that there's so much dead money in there that I've changed my mind completely. A structure like that, and a nit like me, we were made for each other.

That being said, there is no way I could possibly imagine me pulling up $10k to play it. I just couldn't. I'd be forever trying to work out how many hours spent lying in puddles under Landrovers, spannering off some part or other it works out to.

So. Would I play it if I was staked?

Well if I was staked 100% for 70% after stake money returned, i.e. I get 30% and pay my own expenses, then yes, I think I would.

People might think it's a no-brainer, but believe it or not, this was a tough decision for me. It seemed sort of rude to reply, but it seemed even more rude not to.

I think it's a moot point anyway.

I'm pressing the post button now.

So while I was at DTD today, one of the blokes on my table wolf-whistled discreetly at 5 random passing females, regardless of age, looks or demeanour.

Well to be honest he didn't actually wolf-whistle, he said "Whit-woo".

Two of them blushed and one of them said "Oy, that's illegal now" but all of them smiled.

I was out on the piss before xmas with a bunch of girls I work with. There are some pretty good looking ones amongst them but they are all in the 28-40 bracket so age will catch up with them at some point. They were attracting a fair amount of attention and they were complaining about it a little bit. I said to them FFS appreciate it while your getting it as you sure as hell won't like it when that attention stops.

They looked at me and thought for a second and pretty much said to me, you know what your sooooooo right. I don't think they will complain again......... Lips Sealed

I think the art of dating has changed somewhat. It seems to me that gone are the times that a young lady would like to be complimented and swept off her feet.
It seems that the relationships that work are the ones where people treat there partner badly or harshly for the most part. If you show that you like someone, they dislike you for it. If you dont give them your attention they crave for it.
I had a friend the other day tell me that a good relationship should start with sex, which makes you think that the whole thing must be set out on lust, No whooing it seems.
Personally if I like someone then I want to make them feel special, I dont want to see them depressed for the most part but prefer to see a contageous smile.
I like to buy flowers and dinner when we eat, but I kinda get the feeling that ive sort of grew up in the wrong generation.
I guess maybe the fun when you know someone is interested is maybe lost for women now.
Im not sure if its all to do with wanting what you cant have or the thrill of the catch, its all whooshed me a bit

theres me having a little rant, im not really sure if this is the time or place but I would like to think that one of two of you will undestand where im coming from.

Yesterday I had my usual breakfast come dinner, and then in the afternoon I took a flask of soup with me to DTD.

I busted at 7:30pm, exactly as I predicted in my self- bok.

When I arrived home, Mrs Red was eating KFC. I took a piece, and the flood gates opened. I had another piece of chicken, half a dozen biscuits, some bacon sanwiches, and three pieces of chocolate fudge cake with squirty cream.

!

That'll not really harm the diet much, but it won't half mess with your head!

Now you just have to pay that bill.

You'll be fine, just slip back into the routine, & try to forget about the wasted week. Wink

Haven't you heard? The WSOP is the softest tournament imaginable, everyone who enters has at least a 100% ROI! I know this from reading everyone's staking threads.

I've just heard from Rupert Murdoch- your application to work for Sky has been rejected. Sorry about that.

I never saw the 20% swap thing in the first place.

I just thought you and Tony are kinda like the lynichpins of this community and it just felt right that if one of you played, the other should too.

Honestly, the tournament will suit you both down to the ground ad you will both have the time of your lives.

Get the staking thread up pronto.

Now I've had the Keys bink, I'll have 5% of both of you at 1.3.
