Obviously some planes can't take off in the heavy fog as well, depends on the equipment in the plane.
Yeah a lot of planes these days are kitted out with Cat III ILS systems that basically allow them to land themselves, they are rated to 0m visibility. There is a funny story about how the first Cat III landing at an airport once where the plane managed to land just as it should but the pilots encountered a significant problem when they were then unable to taxi off the runway as they couldn't see the ground below!
As James would be well aware, the world's worst ever civil aircraft accident (ignoring Terrorist acts) was partly caused by fog - & happened on the ground. A whole sad tale of mistake piled upon mistake. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenerife_airport_disasterhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxCLImowXB0

White bread = bleached, over processed pap. Get a bit of rough inside you. It's good for your colon.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-15832438This stuff fascinates me, but I wouldn't have the first idea how to get involved. Gotta be worth a £50 punt surely, but does it work like that?

http://www.google.com/finance?q=LON%3ATCGRemember the price you paid for them. Look at the big number at the top. Is it bigger? You're a winner!
