I bumped into Red Simon. He told me he was playing the razz competition as a form punishment for playing badly in something else.
I think he finished second.
That'll teach him.
If he was playing the razz, he got beat by a girl...but fair play for nabbing second.
Joanna Sharp. Who's she when she's at home?
Pretty sure Geo the Sarge is her cousin. I know she's cousins with one of his cousins, so surely that makes them cousins too, yeah?
Anyway...we call her Jo and she mostly resides on APAT. Lovely girl. She supplied the mother load of Cheetos and Butterfinger bars you saw me handing out around the place. Actually, I think you missed out on the Butterfinger bars. Damn. You'd have really liked those too. She lives near an American military base and has friends who can get Yanky treats for us Yanks.
She sounds nice.
Can you point her towards blonde? We need more girls.
The young lady is incredibly nice. Cousin to Mair and myself (My mother, Mairs Father and Jos mother are siblings.)
Sharp by married name and very, very sharp by nature, you would love her Tom.

Wiiiiiii
Can't admit to having known the answer, though reasoned it was likely something to do with a form of obstacle 'avoidance' from the bunny. How little they know....
Seems an opportune moment and audience to ask....If we have what we believe to be foxes urinating in the garden, how do we best discourage them, save calling in the local hunt?
If it is foxes, you have to try to work out why they're coming into the garden in the first place.
The number one reason is food. Are there dustbins that they can get into, or bowls of half eaten dog / cat food etc?
Next is shelter. Are there loads of big private shrubs or perhaps an old shed that they could dig a nice den beneath?
Then there's plain old territory marking. If there are a lot of foxes in your area, they will be keen to mark their territory, and having done so, will visit on a regular basis to renew the scent.
The best deterrent is a dog that doesn't like foxes. Failing that, a good fence that extends at least a couple of feet below ground is a great help.
Remove all traces of food, and pour soapy / disinfectanty water over the scent marked patches.
You can but deterrent chemicals from pest control people or at some garden centres, but be aware, they will deter other wildlife too.
And if all else fails.

That's an impressive photograph Geo. She looks cool, but I bet she's chuffed to bits and rightly so.
She can do as she likes on here, but if she posts on Tony's diary, tell her to throttle the old intellect back a bit. Intelligent women tend to bring out the worst in him. He may even start flirting...

Lol Dan, the young ladies have outshone their elder, I've only managed a bronze. Had more fun railing my wee cousins in poker than actually playing myself.
I'm in the "APAT is a wonderful concept" camp. APAT and blonde gatherings have easily been my favourite poker experiences, unfortunately due to many things I haven't managed an APAT this year at all.

Yeah, was hoping you'd be there at the weekend. Long way to come though for a poker tournament and plenty of other things in life need to take priority.
Sure we'll catch up soon

I had a quick word with Greg, 'Junior' Hill, and congratulated him on his decision to change his alias to 'Junior Senior' in light of his advancing years.
To everyone's childish amusement, some random wag at the same table helpfully suggested that it was also time for me to change mine.... to Dead Dog.
I've arrived. A mention in the 4th best diary on blonde.

Thanks Greg.
A podium would have been nice, but I'm thrilled with 4th in such exalted company. It's the taking part that counts.
Would you like to announce the winners in reverse order?
Oh, and tell us where Tony finished.

The March figures are in.
Not very impressive I'm afraid.
It was a tough, testing, but immensely enjoyable month, and I did manage to stay on the clean side of the blanket... Just.
