Over or under...230,000?

Thanks to everyone for their input on this.

Let me try to be a little clearer.

I want somewhere that I can post personal stuff that only selected people can see or comment on.

Ideally, I would like it if everyone else didn't even know it existed.

You can do exactly that.  You can create a group that no one else knows it even exists until you invite them to join. You can add or remove people from the group whenever you want.

The rest of the Facebook stuff you can opt out or opt in to as much or as little as you want.

Set up a fb acct with a false name.

And shave my tash off for the pictures?

But you can't search photos of someone you don't even know exists.

Happy to come and help you set it up one day, free of charge.

Is there a nandos near you?

I think you're mistaking me for the generous moustachioed guy that used to post here.

You do realise you have never bought me dinner?

You need to change that. I fear you may never get into that small exclusive band of people that have had the pleasure.

The band of people who haven't bought you dinner is even smaller and more exclusive.

~ 30 years ago, I recorded myself singing on one of these fancy cassette recorders, (it was a novelty back then)

Mrs Red is currently converting them to mp3 files.

In the background, you can hear the kids talking and playing. I probably tried to get them to make less noise, now I wish they had made more.

I remember sitting hushed and awe-struck while we used our first family cassette recorder to tape The Cilla Black Show off the telly, sometime back in the seventies Smiley

Well, great old footage, don't like the way it's presented.

If you need any inspiration for your bike ride.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommy_Godwin_(cyclist_born_1912)

There was a bit about him on The One Show today - it's not up on iPlayer yet but should be soon.

Even more so when you see the bike he used, the roads he would have ridden on (no cushy tarmac) and the fact he was a vegetarian.
