Tony. I took this picture because I was curious to know if it means anything in isolation.

It's a Network Rail Bridge Plate, I assume.

Every single railway bridge is numbered, they have to be. The numbers, shape, & colours all have a specific meaning.

In this case, the colour of the plate tells us that Network Rail are not responsible for it's maintenance & well-being.

When I go on a railway journey with a young lady, I'm always at pains to explain every one to her. They love that kind of stuff.

This page may help......

The Portuguese make these absolutely scrummy little custard tarts and sell them everywhere. They look like they have been salvaged from a napalm attack but they taste amazing

Mrs Red & I used to buy a dozen a day and split them 50/50. Nine for me and three for her. (she often gave me one of hers when mine were gone).

Not sure, I don't really do sweet things. I will however go tonight, and check. Just so I can give you a comprehensive answer.

O....M.....G....!

I'm good with heights, I used to specialise in pruning / felling large or awkward trees and I did all my own climbing, but this was something else entirely.

I had to watch it through the cracks between my fingers.

I managed to watch it but there was some serious stomach-churning going on.

I have always been comfortable with heights and done some silly dares at height in my youth but that made me cringe but compelled to watch.

Suppose as it was mainstream TV there wasnt going to be any bad occurrence shown so we knew the hero would survive and go home to mum.

If you're not watching The Everly Brothers on BBC4 right now get on it immediately!
