It turned into a job creation scheme, because when I connected the hose I noticed that the tap was leaking. I had a replacement tap in my collection but before I could fit it I had to turn off the water stop cock. | Click to see full-size image. |

While on my way to the stop cock, which is on the road outside my gate, I noticed a bird sitting in a bush in the distance. I couldn't recognise it from so far away and I was curious to know what it was. I could have tried sneaking up on it but I didn't want to scare it so I went back and got my camera with a zoom lens.
