The headline reads- BAE Systems has bought a 20% stake in a company developing a radical engine that could propel aircraft into space.

Am I supposed to know who BAE Systems are then or do they expect me to Google it?

Do you remember British Aerospace?

Vaguely yes. Why, are they relying on me remembering British Aerospace and making some kind of connection?

Because BAE Systems is a major company that has been around under it's current name for 16yrs?

I know that you're an old-fashioned bloke like me Tom, who prefers a wet shave and if memory serves you also used to use a mach 3 razor which I have also used for years now, but the last time I bought blades, having got that ripped-off feeling as I parted with my £14, they seemed to be not as sharp as they once were.

This led me to experiment with a couple of other types of razor and I came across the wilkinson hydro5 which is absolutely different class and easily the closest and most comfortable shave I have ever experienced.

I urge you to try it or on the other hand you could make me an offer for the half a dozen brand new mach 3 blades that I have in stock.

The MoD spend an absolute fortune with these. I had the displeasure of working alongside them on the new QE Class Aircraft Carrier.

You are correct in all your assumptions and observations Ralph. You didn't say how much the Wilkinson Hydro 5 cost, but if they are considerably cheaper than Gillette I will give them a go.

I would be prepared to buy your now redundant mach 3s at 20p on the £, which is a very fair price for unwanted or stolen goods.

The Hydro5 blades cost ~£2 each if you shop around, similar to the Mach3.

PS How good are you at removing security tags?
