Yup.
Ah ha! I've worked out what you did there now.

BTW- I'd be interested in an explanation for the YouTube/WhatsApp uploading phenomenon if anyone has one.

Did a bit of Googling & I think it's because Whatsapp converts the video into a lower quality smaller file & compresses it - then the sending is from the Whatsapp server straight to Youtube (so faster than your data connection).
Way to test it would be to send the same vid to Youtube & via whatsapp & checking file size & video quality i suppose.

btw Tom
I don't know why you had a brief hiatus in your Blonde posting but I have to say that your return is welcome and your writing is back to it's best.
I remember very well the day I read the first post in this diary. It cost me a couple of days of my life as I read through every subsequent page. I laughed, thought, and damn near cried as I did so.
Thank you.

Thanks guys.
Diaries need feedback, questions, participation, otherwise it's just like waving a walking stick in St Paul's Cathedral.
Oh wait, that quote is for a different situation entirely.

This is Amber learning to ignore unattended food.
Well not so much learning to ignore it as learning to resist it.

This is from a few years ago. Ronnie's nowhere near as good now as he used to be. Now that he's an old boy I let him get away with murder
Great to see the diary back Tom. I'll try to post more rather than just read.....

As someone who once wrote a masterpiece on shootouts I consider you something of an authority on the subject, so pray tell me this:
Why is it that the guy who draws first in Western movies always loses?

Puppies play fight a lot, but play fighting is very important. They learn attack and defence techniques, how to moderate bite strength, and they establish rank or pecking order.
It's too soon to tell, but I'm tipping Evie to be the dominant one.

That's very impressive Matt. I think all dogs should be well behaved but the owners of big powerful breeds have an extra duty of care.
